The rumble does not need a 2 month build. It’s weird to me they have three ple’s between summerslam and survivor series but nothing between SS and the Rumble. I feel like a year end PPV is what is missing

Probably because traditionally the December PPV didn't do well. I don't feel like a filler PPV is that missed.

Aren’t all (or most of) the talent getting a week or so off before Christmas? Maybe they just decided to scrap the PPV as it would be around that period?

I just assumed it was because most if not all the talent were getting a week off before christmas as DiBiase is Good mentioned.

Aren’t all (or most of) the talent getting a week or so off before Christmas? Maybe they just decided to scrap the PPV as it would be around that period? They’re getting the 19th through the 25th off. |

they always do a ton of holiday live events through December, it probably just didn't fit schedule wise with everything else going on.

December PPVs are usually filler AT BEST. Left the guys and ladies have time off with their families and get geared up for the Road to Mania.

Yeah I prefer it this way. They seem to be building up a big January 1st Raw too, with Rollins vs. Drew for the title. Could see them adding Gunther vs. Miz as well.

They obviously knew that At Worlds End was such a good PPV title they couldn't compete with it.
