Shows how high the bar is set for AEW PPV's I suppose, thought the show ended really strong but had a pretty dead middle.

I guess but even the WWE PPVs, which are basically always mediocre to me with a few exceptions, were better than that. Only the Copeland/Christian, Mox/Eddie, and opener were all that good to me. Willow/Stat and Hook/Yuta were pretty good. Everything else was bleh or outright bad.

A guy is accused of a heinous crime and gets prominently featured with overwhelmingly negative fan reaction.

A guy wins a title then loses it a minute later after a match with crazy spots and fire.

A guy loses the world title in his hometown to loud "BULLSHIT" chants from the crowd and then the new champ is immediately overshadowed by a stupid angle involving guys in masks.

Botches, ref bumps, and interference consistently across a bunch of matches that either had stipulations or more than two people.

The PPV was awesome!

Yeah it does. Ok cool, saw like 20K people viewing and nothing happening, thought I had a problem on my end or was blocked here in Canada, which wouldn't be unusual.

Overall, I think the only matches that really dragged down the show for me were the Miro/Andrade match, and the Jericho 8-man. Everything else on the card was either reasonably good to great.

That being said, in retrospect, if I had the choice, I probably wouldn't have paid full price for that show. But, hindsight is 50/50, as they say.
