I feel like these are the two biggest possible matches for the WHC at Mania. I want McIntyre vs Zayn but with how new the title is I feel it needs to main event a night of Mania since it’ll be the first time this title is in a mania so Punk vs Rollins would be bigger. But either way I’m still pulling for McIntyre vs Zayn where Zayn finally wins the world title.

Drew vs Sami, for the reason that Drew really needs to get the job done against Seth on Jan 1st.

I’d love to see Zayn win his first world title at Mania against Drew but I think WWE will stick with the usual MO of making the biggest matches have the biggest stakes and keeping the title in the Rollins-Punk feud.

Drew/Sami would be great. They need it.
Punk/Seth doesn't need a title. It's a personal feud that holds its own.

Drew vs. Sami, Seth vs. Punk doesn't need the title in any way whatsoever.

Drew wins the title at Day 1. Rematch at the Rumble that ends with a failed cash in by Priest and Rollins getting screwed by Punk, leading to the split between Priest and Balor. Rollins interferes in the Rumble to eliminate Punk. Sami wins the Rumble.
At Mania you have: Drew (c) vs. Sami Punk vs. Rollins Priest vs. Balor

I'd be fine with Seth/Drew, or Drew/Sami, or Drew/Jey Uso, or Seth/Gunther, or Priest/Balor, or pretty much anything decent, just as long as Punk isn't involved.

It depends what title they want to main event night 1. If they want the World title to main event then I think it has to be Punk/Seth otherwise I think Rhea/Becky for the Women's title would close. My feeling is that unless something becomes so undeniably hot that it absolutely has to main event (like Sami last year) then a Women's world title should main event one night and a men's world title should main event another. If Roman/Cody is night 2 then I think Seth/Punk is the only other world title match that I think would be a big enough draw to warrant going on last over Rhea/Becky on night 1. I don't think Drew/Sami would.
I wouldn't mind Punk costing Seth the title on Jan 1 then Seth eliminating Punk from the Rumble. If that's the case though I don't get why they went so hard with Punk talking about main eventing Wrestlemania and Seth saying maybe one day you'll challenge me for the title. There's an old marketing thing like don't tease something you're not going to deliver unless you have something even bigger planned (think Bianca/Sasha at Summerslam that one year not happening but they got Becky's return after a year and a half instead). To tease Seth-Punk for the title in the Mania main event then it ending up being a non-title grudge match which I don't think would go on last would be weird.
For the sake of the title they should probably do Punk/Rollins so that it gets the prestige of main eventing night 1. If Mania as a whole has say Roman/Cody, Punk/Seth, Rhea/Becky and Gunther/Brock then Drew/Sami might be like the 5th most important match which is not a good look for the title, kinda like Wrestlemania 29 when the World title match was way down the list of marquee matches. Drew/Sami is obviously way better than Del Rio/Swagger though and as a Sami fan if he wins the World title at Mania I'm not going to complain. I'd just be a bit surprised.
