Drew, Asuka, Roxanne and Becky have grown on me.
Drew was stale as a face but his heel turn has reinvigorated him.
Only disliked Asuka because of the screeching but she's stopped that, thankfully. And I like the "new" character.
Had no opinion on Roxanne until she became a big meany.
As someone who didn't see the rise of "The Man", Becky was just the Bianca squasher to me. But she's much better as a face and she's had some of the best matches of the women this year.
Soured on Rhea and Roman.
Rhea's title reign is endless and boring.
See above. I was a huge fan until he beat Cody and now I groan whenever he (rarely) appears.

Grown on me:Workhorse Miz (Never a fan of him but then he spring-boarded, then the matches with Gunther)
Judgement Day (Only the inclusion of R-Truth saved them, because I was sour on them most the year) Chelsea Green (At first I thought she was a second rate Billie Kay, but she has come on to her own (most credit goes to Samantha's delightful intro)
Maxxine (She was good as the MMM, she's great with Alpha Academy) Drew (Face Drew was always sort of meh, but as a heel with a good point, I dig it)
Soured on me:
Rhea Ripley (Formerly one of my favorites. I am so sick of her, her OP booking, and her never gets any sort of comeuppance) John Cena (I still like Cena, but his in-ring return was not that great, and I kind of don't want him to come back to the ring if that's all he's got in him) The Bloodline (Jimmy, Jey, Roman, Sami... never liked Solo at all. These guys were once the best thing going, now they do nothing for me) Bianca Belair (Never liked her and her OP booking, but with each growing day of no-selling and burying everyone over and over, my dislike grows) Shinsuke Nakamura (I was a big fan, but his booking has told me he's never going to make it, and I should not care about him)
Street Profits (Montez was in my Fav 5, but since the pairing with Lashley, I simply don't care)
This of course is just the characters on TV. Most of these people seem like great folks in outside interviews.

Grown on me.
Tony D'Angelo Trick Williams Tatum Paxley
All people who were all on my...there has gotta be something better on the weather channel list, but now I have come around to actually paying attention whether it be because of alignment change or gimmick overhaul with Tatum.
Soured on
Exceptional mention to planet eater herself BIANCA
Rhea Ripely - For all the heaping endless praise she has gotten she has done absoloutley nothing for any of the other women and her title reign has been a complete and utter bust and the more every other woman gets fed to her the more I sour on her.
The remaining New Day - I really want to set Kofi on Fire...and if Xavier catches the flames hey all the better , this act is f***ing annoying and dire because the only good thing about it sadly may never wrestle again.
Street Profits - Yor babyface shtick got annoying and ran it's course....how are you even worse as heels athletic as you may be.

Grown on me:
Santos Escobar- was just another good wrestler type for me but the character and personality growth has been fantastic.
Adam Pearce - finally showing personality helped
Waller: always dug the dude but, he’s without a doubt the future.
Ludwig Kaiser: think there’s definitely a singles run there. I still think if the other dude as henchmen # 37 but Kaiser’s got something.
Shinsuke: the character work has made him re-grow on me.
The Miz: I actually haven’t disliked miz since, shit I can’t even remember, but it felt like he had a year that he was slept on but then also reminded everyone of his value in many different ways
NXT guys and gals: I don’t watch NXT other than the random blue moon show or ppv, but through that and peripheral, a lot of the talent has grown on me. It’s very similar to the golden days of NXT. Wasn’t watching then too but I was aware.
Cena: his Old Man Cena run has been great. A great way to appreciate him. Specially as someone that wasn’t a fan of his prime run.
Soured:
Johnny gargano: dude comes off like..can’t even think of an insult. Whatever would be generic to white bread.
Dp: not completely soured but compared to the rest of judgment day…he definitely got a ceiling.
Drew: I dunno if part of it is the gimmick but..he ain’t come off the best he ever has in wwe.
Kp: went from an inoffensive twat to like one of the worst components of the product.

It’s not a matter of someone growing on me. Because I didn’t really have an opinion on this person. I don’t watch NXT and I didn’t see any of his work prior to signing with WWE. GUNTHER is great. He hasn’t lived up to the hype, he’s surpassed it. He’s going to win a top title before the end of 2024. He will main event Wrestlemania, probably multiple Wrestlemanias. Everything about him is big time.

Soured:
Rhea - Endless journey of squash matches I see no threats in her future. Then being on multiple shows.
Kofi - I think a change of scenery would be beneficial. Maybe a gimmick change.
Montez: I thought he would have started a singles run by now. He did so well in that elimination chamber match. Joining Lashley hasn’t done anything.

Grown: Michael Cole. He’s in the GOAT conversation since Vince is no longer in his ear.
Soured: Rhea Ripley. She’s so dominant that she’s almost as bad as Authority Stephanie at this point.

Grown:
Angelo Dawkins - There was a period early in the year when Ford was injured so they used Dawkins as a job guy for a while. Even though he lost every match, they were all very entertaining and he looked really good. Dawkins may still end up being the Jannetty of the Street Profits, but he's worked hard to ensure he won't be the Tucker. The pairing with Lashley has been ass, though.
Chad Gable - They finally figured out what to do with him, and it's fantastic.
Soured
Bianca - Way overprotected. She's the new Charlotte.
Shinsuke - he's never going to make it
Dexter Lumis - That program with Miz was dire

Grown,
- Cody, I still think he should have won at Mania as waiting a year puts your main storyline under risk (injuries, crowd turning on him) and it's another year of the main eventers and upper midcarders spinning their wheels until Reigns drops the title BUT the humbling and redemption storyline with Brock was badly needed. It was the first adversity (in ring) he has faced since his return and he came out of it a more likable character and a more believable champion.'LOL Cody wins' was only going to lead to the fans starting to boo and they averted that.
- Dominic, has pretty much carried Raw for many episodes this year.
- Iyo Sky, after a rough start has exceeded my expectations as champ.
- Bayley, see Dom, but for Smackdown.
Soured,
- The Miz, "I may not be the best wrestler, but I've been here longer and done more than you!" is not a great babyface gimmick IMO.
- Non-Dominic Judgement Day members, its the same shtick every bloody week.
- The Bloodline, I don't see why it has to end and Roman's empire has to burn to the ground at Mania. Summerslam would have been a good time to end the storyline and you wouldn't have the latter half of the year with nothing interesting in the main event/absent champ. I really don't get the emphasis on Mania when they do multiple stadium shows a year now.

Grown:
Grayson Waller-his segment with Cena at MITB won me over. LA Knight-after the Wyatt feud, he just kinda caught on with me. Santos Escobar-the heel turn and the promo afterwards sold me on him. Gunther-he's been dominant since holding the IC belt and enjoyed every match.
Soured: Dexter Lumis-that ladder match was hot garbage Street Profits-their stock plummeted since the heel turn.

Grown Dom - thought he was a nepo baby but he's been killing it all year LA Knight and Chelsea Green - both great character wrestlers Solo - i liked Umaga and he's adopted a lot of his mannerisms and i think it's just worked. Santos - guy just has that star quality as a heel he lacked as a face.
Soured Reigns - it's just getting a bit old now. His reign is just padded figures to make him seem important but he's just a bore now Jimmy Uso - Jey is the star but he could've been a star soon. The heel turn killed him as a character for me. Punk - just over the discourse related to him Bobby Lashley - he's just done nothing on Smackdown. Thought we would've had Bobby vs Reigns by now.

Credit to the booking (for once), they've absolutely nailed Dom's progress this year. Dude is one of the most valuable guys on the roster with the reactions he gets.
Reigns is one of the best ever on the mic but oh my god I don't care.

Grown On Me
Jimmmy- I don't know, something about his goomba sense of deluded worth in the Bloodline scene is a little endearing
Damien Priest- Push feels more organic and his position in Judgement Day is way more relaxed and building to something bigger
L.A Knight- The Megastar. Pure and Simple. Doesn't need the belt to be the guy.
Seth- Lengthy reign, but it's been more fun than his Universal runs and the audience are behind him. Drama with Punk could be him on the roll of his life in '24.
Miz has grown on me since 2009 so no surprise he still manages it to this day.
Dominick- Pure arrogant evil, oozes it.
Soured:
Bailey- Being in Damage Control is 'damaging' her. I get there's a build, but I wish they'd pull the trigger and kick her out.
Solo- Hasn't looked all that hot to me despite the dominance. Couldn't even carry Old Man Cena to a respectable match.
Bobby Lashley- Never recovered from the cancelation of the Bray feud. They've had nothing for him all year

Grown:
LA Knight - Guy is over as hell and it's easy to see why. He's got charisma for days, can talk on the mic, and carries himself like a star.
Dom - His heel turn and pairing with Rhea Ripley has been a boon for him. I've become a fan of his character work.
Santos Escobar - He's been better since his heel turn.
Soured:
CM Punk - His burning of bridges and the constant drama surrounding him for the past year and beyond was the line in the sand for me. The drama has soured me so much that it's left me burnt out and is the reason I toned down on discussing wrestling these days.
Roman Reigns - His work as a heel is by far his best, but the title reign and Bloodline angle has long overstayed its welcome imo. I'm still in the belief Cody should've won last year.
Street Profits - They're just not clicking as heels from my viewpoint.

Grown: Michael Cole. He’s in the GOAT conversation since Vince is no longer in his ear. I remember watching the "Beast in the East" show in 2015 and thinking, "wow, Cole can be a great commentator when he's allowed to be". Grown: As someone who hasn't watched NXT in a very long time, seeing Carmelo Hayes on Smackdown was a "now I get the hype" moment. Dominik Mysterio has been one of the most watchable villains in wrestling this year. Soured: I just can't get all that excited about CM Punk's return. It's like he has been rewarded for being an unprofessional jerk (not the first time in wrestling, I know) and I keep thinking, "how long is he sticking around until he feels insulted again and leaves in a huff?".
