Honestly, him leaving quietly is probably a win for AEW. He has done nothing except look like he would rather be somewhere else the whole time. Very poetic that his final match would be vs Miro - another dude who would also much rather be somewhere else. I'm just curious to see how it ends since it's a match between two dudes who don't like doing the j-o-b. You know how fans chant ‘fight forever’? They will literally see that tonight as both men refuse to lay down.

It appears the Andrade and AEW relationship has come to an end. PWInsider and WrestlePurists have also reported details that Fightful Select can confirm about how things stand with Andrade and AEW ahead of Worlds End. Fightful Select learned this week that Andrade and AEW were set to no longer work together, with most expecting it to culminate at the AEW Worlds End show. Numerous sources indicated that Andrade made it clear this past Wednesday at AEW Dynamite he no longer wanted to be with the company and was planning on leaving. We're told that the situation surrounding Andrade's exit was less than pleasant, with some even saying a major disagreement had unfolded. WWE sources had been told by those close to Andrade that his deal wouldn’t be up until at least the spring, but many we spoke to in AEW expected his deal to be up imminently. There were many both AEW and WWE that expected him to head back to WWE. Fightful was able to learn of internal chatter about a potential return at WWE Day 1 Raw, which Triple H also teased. However, one source we spoke to seemed befuddled at the idea that would be Andrade, without outright denying it. It's unlikely they would confirm such a thing considering Andrade is still with AEW. Yeah sounds like at least at this point, AEW has decided that Andrade just ain't worth the headache and if he wants to be gone it's best to let him go

I just never saw it with him. He's talented but I just never cared about what he's doing.

I thought Andrade had a really good C2 run, and am a little sad to see him go, but there’s not much he can do that RUSH doesn’t do better anyway. Also, with there being an opening for an elite luchador again I hope Bandido returns.
I’m glad to see AEW agreeing to cut bait with the malcontents on the roster too. It’s the right move.

Triple H booked him well in NXT so maybe he'll be better off in WWE second time around? Trips can work miracles but.. ///// Hey Andrade, what did you do in Retalhuleu, Guatemala in 2009? Just asking questions. The f*** this schloob do in my home country?

As much as I hate bad behaviour being rewarded, AEW should absolutely let Andrade go early. I'm not a fan of keeping wrestlers locked into contracts they don't want to be in but I'm also not a fan of wrestlers acting like asses either.
And as others in this thread have already said, let him take Flair with him.

If he wants to go, frankly, let him go
He was really good in the C2, I loved his matches, but the dude hasn't been happy here seemingly for well over a year, and nothing is going to satisfy him so... if he wants to try it in WWE again, just let him
Hey Zelina got booked way better and got an extension, I'll reserve judgment, but AEW's roster is massive, and they already have RUSH, Andrade won't be an insane loss.

Never much cared for him. Decent in ring, looks like a star but there are dozen of guys out there that can do what he does but better.

I said it in the general contract thread, but I do find it mildly amusing that Andrade just made amends with CMLL, and now he may be going back to WWE, where he probably won't get to wrestle in CMLL anymore.

I think it was Meltzer that reported that’s why he might’ve done the CMLL gig in the first place. Because if he goes to WWE he wouldn’t be able to do that anymore.

That's a fair mentality if that's the case. I just find it weird that he'd repair that relationship, main event in front of 16,000 people in Arena Mexico, then go "alright, time to never wrestle there again (for the remainder of this contract)!"

Regardless of booking or bosses etc, I imagine his wife having just signed for multiple years with WWE had to be a big reason for going, which is totally understandable

Really negatively hurt the PPV match, fans knew that Andrade is gone and he got some YOU SOLD OUT chants but mostly no reaction.

Yeah that wasn't even a bad match but it was inevitable and went on way too long
Someone said it had Lesnar vs Goldberg vibes and I have to agree

I wish AEW would play mean just once and force Andrade to make such a clown of himself that by the time they were done with him, WWE wouldn't want him.
Although knowing TK, half the roster probably has creative control written into their contracts.

I would also assume that doing something like that negatively effects morale, trying to hurt someone's drawing power is stuff that the WWE does because they think they're the only thing in wrestling that matters.

Think he'll debut as a face going against Escobar to "defend Rey's honor" before inevitably turning on Rey. Might join Judgement Day if they expand.
