It felt like a decent match but with the rumors and bad storyline that was attached. It had no chance to get over tonight.

Dude was coming off string of shows where he was weirdly super over, though. Texas specifically loves him, it seems. But all of that just died when he was back to the Miro angle.

Idk how high his ceiling is in WWE but I guess he thinks HHH will use him better. I would imagine an immediate feud with Santos Escobar is in the cards, maybe reuniting with Zelina.

Because the league needed to have some surprise wins, and Danielson losing on a back to back (Had to wrestle Garcia on Rampage) made sense that he dropped one to a fresher Andrade at his best. Then Andrade felt like more of a final boss for Kingston to overcome

If you look at the way the tournament was booked, it does make sense that they needed Andrade to get a big win so that Eddie would have to beat him, but also give Bryan some peril (as well as giving the Claudio/Danielson match a story where Claudio had to beat Andrade at all costs to set up the must win match vs Danielson)

I guess you could question why he was even involved if he was on his way out but he certainly didn’t phone in any of the performances in the tournament.

I don't really mind him being pushed in the C2. The goal other than Eddie winning was clearly to put up the best possible in ring tournament. Andrade is awesome in the ring but very hard to please, and if you book him in a losing streak as he's leaving you pretty much guarantee some shit performances. Keeping him strong at least keeps him motivated, and looking at the quality of his matches, I'd say it worked.

Danielson losing due to injury after having already beaten Andrade clean does absolutely no harm to him. The only other wrestler who you could say needed more wins in the tournament was Daniel Garcia, and honestly I don't know if the pop for his last 2 wins would've been that big if he had been beating everyone beforehand. The mini losing streak and subsequent resurgence works better for him IMO (provided they follow through).

I just wanna say that the funniest f***ing thing that happened during RAW was someone giving way on Twitter that Andrade wouldn't be there because Andrade & Charlotte literally showed up to where dude worked at midway thru the show.
