31. Kirby Super Star Ultra
First time in a long, long time I've played all the way through this one, kind of forgot just how short it actually is. Hell of a lot of fun in either case though, left off at Marx but might di Revenge of the King and Meta Knightmare at the least later.

10. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
Nothing out of the ordinary for a Lego game. Fun but a little glitchy, going through the levels is just a small part of the game, collecting all the stuff makes up most of it. I stuck a podcast on when I was doing that, and it was a nice relaxing time.
You get all nine films here. As well as the open world(s), there are bits between the levels to link them together. One thing I did feel is that because they are covering so much, sometimes I would be looking forward to a level for the next bit of the film only for it to happen in a cutscene instead. Oh, and some of the space races were a pain to do.

32. Super Mario Galaxy
Got all 120 stars as I typically do when I beat it. Always a fun time, though do feel like the endgame suffers from a few poor decisions, like making you redo the last level for no particular reason and the fact you have to run back and forth all around the observatory to do the purple coin missions as they spawn (and also most of those just kind of being really plodding to begin with), that makes it feel like it kind of fizzles out. Kind of a part of why I feel split on whether I prefer it or the sequel, which I do kind of like to play in close conjunction with the original but since it stupidly didn't get a Switch port it's kind of more of a pain in the ass to play comparatively so likely going to wait a bit before getting to it. Though I'd played the sequel more recently of the two anyway.
This does mean on checking that I've beaten all of the 3D Mario games within the span of a year, which I've always kind of wanted to do, so I guess that's nice. Actually checking I've also beaten every 2D game in the same span of time, so guess been going heavy on the series of late. Neat I guess.

33. Mortal Kombat: Deception
Felt like doing a run of it, not a lot to say there but always a fun time. Game's certainly a bit janky by modern standards but is still pretty solid.

17. Castle of Illusion Remake
Played this years back and wanted to give it another look. Fun remake made with lots of love for the original. With all this talk of studios getting shuttered it's a shame Sega shut this one because i'd have loved a World of Illusion remake.

11. Spider-man: Miles Morales
It seems like it'll be a good link between the first and second game (not played this yet). While there's plenty familiar about it, it's a chance for Miles to get his character fleshed out a bunch and there's a some new tricks and abilities to play around with. The story is nothing groundbreaking, but it's solid enough.
Either I've gotten worse since I played the first game or this one is a bit trickier.

33. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Beating it on Tears of the Kingdom's anniversary is kind of just a weird coincidence but does feel like a good sum-up of my opinions of it compared to the game it's a sequel to.
Either way, yeah, this was kind of a semi-abridged run, did all of the Divine Beasts but was skipping cutscenes, only did about half the shrines, and didn't get super in the weeds on the side content. I've gone really heavy on the game several times before and didn't want to get too bogged down in it so this was just sort of a, "Hit the high points and go," kind of run at it, though might double back around to this file to do the other stuff another time.
Always a fun time, if still not exactly one of my favorites in the series. If they ever finally port Wind Waker and Twilight Princess I could really see myself opting to go with them over it a lot more often in the future, kind of the biggest thing it has going for it in terms of me revisiting it is the convenience factor. Still, do rather enjoy it, certainly more than I do its sequel.
Might play Skyward Sword next. Still in a Zelda mood and been wanting to play Wind Waker but reluctant to in case they finally port it.

34. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3 stars 150cc on all of the base game (including Wii U DLC) courses, might do the Booster Pass ones again some other time but kind of good for a break for awhile. Always a good way to kill some time.

35. Pokemon Puzzle Challenge
Did a hard mode run, kind of just on a whim. Really wish they'd put it up on the Switch, even with Panel de Pon and Puzzle League already on there it has a lot of novelty in its own right given just how distinctly Gen 2 it is that there are definitely times I'd be more inclined to play it than those. Maybe they'll do it for the Gen 2 anniversary later this year or something.

18. Batman Telltale: The Enemy Within
Loved it. Was a perfect follow up to the first season. Played it through once and then replayed episodes 4 and 5 again to get the second ending. Loved the spin on the characters and John Doe was a very good take on the Joker character.
