Now I know he made A LOT of money with the sale but he also thought he would regain the power that he had…only for that plan to backfire. One month ago, it looked like he was going to be forced out by this time.
I know it’s all about the $$$ but seriously how many times did he burn money to satisfy his own ego?

The only thing he regrets is not giving Goldberg his retirement match.

He tried to pull a power move because he’s Vince McMahon dammit! And Ari had other plans…so yes, I’m sure that he regrets getting made to look like a fool regardless of the huge amount of money that he made.

He seems pretty rich and still works within the company even if he doesn't run creative. Seems like a good life unfortunately.

Absolutely.
At the end of the day, it was about power. Selling the company was Vince's attempt to step back in to a power role that he stepped out of after the allegations came out. Without the company or the power, he has no card to play.

Now is the time for that recent Vince gif that has gone viral from the Andre doc.

The only thing he regrets is not giving Goldberg his retirement match. Vince on his deathbed will simply say "Goldberg" in the way Orson Welles once said "Rosebud"

I do think we need to reiterate the specific situation he's in (and anyone more knowledgeable on the matter please correct me if any of this is wrong).
Vince McMahon IS still in the company, in a high-ranking position as the Executive Chairman of the Board Of Directors of TKO. He's still involved in some way. But what is important to note on a basic fan level like we're on, is that his superior in management, this Ari Emanuel, has the current mandate that the job one is assigned to do is the ONLY one you do. Thus, Vince is currently not assigned to any positions as it relates to WWE creative direction (I believe this is the department that Triple H leads), nor does any of his input have to be implemented in any way. Nick Khan is essentially in the Vince role of WWE, but there's no indication that he has any specific interest in creative (at this point, that could always change).

He probably regrets it to some extent, but it isn't like he's entirely out, even if he's not in the mix. So, we're not safe from him entirely yet.

Nah. He's probably compartmentalized it. He's taught himself to never regret any of his actions.

He has bigger things to regret and he probably doesn't anyway.

Now is the time for that recent Vince gif that has gone viral from the Andre doc. Amazed no one posted it; it’s so f***ing cathartic in this setting. Yeah. No doubt there’s a part of him that’s bitter. Basically got shoved out. WWE is prospering. And he’s looking, and probably feeling, the roughest he ever has physically because of the surgery. Won’t be shocked if he puts his money to do some kind of venture to puff out his chest again.

I feel like it doesn't actually bother him that much.
It's fun to imagine he's sitting in his cavernous estate with a glass of cognac looking at how acclaimed the product is now, and the recent ratings, and thinking "I guess my critics were right all along".
But I'm pretty sure the first thing he does in the morning is check how his stock is doing, and if it's good, he's happy.
And as others have pointed out, he's still around.
And despite everything, the guy has been around forever. Even if he's not actually a part of creative, bouncing an idea off him isn't a bad idea, as long as he doesn't have the final say.
