Insert Woody Harrelson Crying Into Money .Gif
I'm sure he's pissed about how it happened, but the man is set for the remainder of his life. Maybe he'll even start to release what life is really like when you don't work 21 hours a day.

Won’t be shocked if he puts his money to do some kind of venture to puff out his chest again. Give his grasp on contemporary trends he'll probably start an NFT company or something.

Whoa whoa whoa, Vince won’t learn about NFTs until 2050. That being said, Vince just found out this new beanie baby craze. He’s going all in and investing all his WWE money into it

He made a f*** tonne from the sale, he’s likely making a f*** tonne now even in the position he’s in and if he is somehow thrown out, the golden parachute will make him a further f*** tonne.
So no, absolutely not.

I think he regrets giving up 100% control of wwe, I dont think he regrets his bank account from the sale.
I do expect him to slowly attempt a secret take over attempt where he puts a big chunk of money into the company shares so he can own/control both wwe & ufc.

I can’t really see that happening without a) shareholders being aware and b) Wall Street being aware because anything that might affect the value of the company just being done unknowingly will just lead to trouble.

I do think we need to reiterate the specific situation he's in (and anyone more knowledgeable on the matter please correct me if any of this is wrong). Vince McMahon IS still in the company, in a high-ranking position as the Executive Chairman of the Board Of Directors of TKO. He's still involved in some way. But what is important to note on a basic fan level like we're on, is that his superior in management, this Ari Emanuel, has the current mandate that the job one is assigned to do is the ONLY one you do. Thus, Vince is currently not assigned to any positions as it relates to WWE creative direction (I believe this is the department that Triple H leads), nor does any of his input have to be implemented in any way. Nick Khan is essentially in the Vince role of WWE, but there's no indication that he has any specific interest in creative (at this point, that could always change). This. I don't get why people don't grasp this. Its not about running the show on TV, its getting what he feels due and placing himself in a role that allows minimal work for maximum pay while other people do the things he handled for 40 years. Vince IMO getting out of the wrestling and business bubble finally found life outside of the industry and likely realized how little he actually needed it. Vince like most artists get addicted and obsessed with their work to a degree where it is their life. His time away showed him he didn't need it, but he isn't just gonna go home and lose everything, that isn't how this works in the real world. Moral feelings mean little in real world business unless they think its a bad look.

I hope he does.
I hope he lives a long, phsyically healthy life. And wakes up, goes to bed, and lives every moment in between feeling unfulfilled and bored.

I think my counterpoint to Vince regretting it is, like...he didn't have to sell. He had the most shares, had the voting power to override any sale, the thing he went out his way to put that in when he came back as Chairman. He probably spoke to Ari and got his lawyers to look through the terms to make sure it made sense to him. He had full control over the entire process and absolutely knew what it meant to basically hand the company over to a conglomerate when there was zero reason financially to do so.
So I find it hard to think he'd regret it when he's rich and powerful enough to know what doing it meant.

Considering where he was before he sold it to now?
Absolutely not.
Remember before the sale he was OUT, he was only allowed back in because of the sale.

Like, yeah, maybe he still would have forced himself back because of his shares but it wouldn’t be like he’d be where he was, he’d just be a guy with the voting block to decide stuff.

I don’t see Vince as someone who is capable of believing he made a wrong decision. If Vince did it, Vince thinks it was 100% the right thing to do at the time, and if it didn’t work out, it was someone else’s fault.
