I grew up watching Starsky & Hutch. It was always on TV, and me and my friends were always playing cops and robbers and we screamed around the yard pretending to drive that Big Red Tomato.
Didn't see Salem's Lot until I was a little older, but damn that as a great movie too.
Rest in peace, sir.

R.I.P. David Soul
He was a very talented individual and he will be greatly missed
I've always liked his #1 hit song "Don't Give Up On Us" from (1976).
I know that David Soul is best known for his iconic role as Richard "Hutch" Hutchinson in the ABC (1975-1979) action television series "Starsky & Hutch", but I've seen just two or three episodes of "Starsky & Hutch".
I greatly admire the (1973) movie "Magnum Force". David Soul portrayed Officer Davis in that terrific neo-noir action thriller movie.
I also greatly admire the CBS (1979) TV mini-series "Salem's Lot". David Soul portrayed Ben Mears in that magnificent two-part TV mini-series.
I've enjoyed seeing all 52 episodes of the ABC (1968-1970) comedy western television series "Here Come the Brides". David Soul portrayed Joshua Bolt in all 52 episodes of that fabulous television series.
I've also enjoyed seeing David Soul's guest appearances in these classic American TV Shows from the 20th Century.
"All in the Family" "Cannon" "Dan August" "Flipper" "I Dream of Jeannie" "McMillan & Wife" "Murder, She Wrote" "Star Trek: The Original Series" "The Streets of San Francisco"

He was great in Salem's Lot. Never really watched him in anything else, but he's easily one of my favorite Stephen King movie protagonists.
