It feels like they've blown off a lot of Rumble-esque matches before the show itself. I know there's the four way but everything else non-Rumble on the show seems up in the air. Besides that I don't get Nia vs Rhea not being a Rumble match. She beat Becky, shouldn't that earn her a shot at the title? I don't want to see the match but her entering the Rumble instead of challenging Rhea makes no sense. It feels like almost everyone is going "I will win the Rumble to get that title!" which like fair but you think someone would go "give it to me right now"

This is fun and all but I'm curious if they have any major plans for Dom at Mania. It felt like he was heading for bigger things but now he's a firm part of the comedy Judgement Day B-Team. I really want him to fight Miz but if Miz and Truth end up going for the tagbelts then I don’t know what you do with him unless they are keeping him as a backup option for something in case someone gets injured. I mean, maybe Sami/Dom?

Cody's story is kind of similar to Goku's in that he has these rivalries with people who he eventually allies with later.

I know people feel like Nakamura’s lost too much but they really have done an admiral job of making the guy feel important again in the last year. It was like he got back from the NOAH match and then things started to click for him again. That doesn't really matter when all he does is lose big matches and he's going to be doing that yet again here. Presentation is better, his actual booking is the exact same

Yes, it does, because it means you can slot him in positions like this and the general audience - not you, a hardcore fan - takes him seriously enough.

I feel like we get more entrance-commercial-thing-entrance than ever lately.

Yes, it does, because it means you can slot him in positions like this and the general audience - not you, a hardcore fan - takes him seriously enough. Idk how general audiences can even take him seriously, like enough times Nakamura gets a title match or a big match like this and he never wins it, after awhile you notice the pattern. Again, his presentation has been better but the road is the same and it sucks

And he'll always get that response but I don't think the recent booking has changed things too much in either direction.

They see him pick up a few wins against smaller fries and then he goes and gets beat by the bigger fry. It’s how the WWE has done things forever and ever.

Somebody get some salt water for Cole to gargle, or maybe a lozenge.

Nakamura's still been one of the bigger choke artists of recent history and I think it's noticeable. Way more then some other talents. But we can agree to disagree here.
