This would absolutely suck for Seth if he has to miss any length of time & give up the title. He’s been a great champ & he deserves to see his title reign through. Selfishly I will be gutted as I was looking forward potentially having Seth vs Punk at Mania.

Hopefully it's nothing. Looking forward to Seth/Punk.

I feel bad for him and hope he is okay/gets to hold onto the title but I am shocked that we haven't already ran into this situation many more times with how adamant WWE is about keeping most of the titles on people for long ass periods of time. They've actually been really lucky as a company that this same shit hasn't happened to people like Gunther/Rhea/Roman/etc.

If Seth needed some backup against Indus Sher, he should have brought out Becky and their Kangaroo daughter to watch his back.

Priest ain’t the most glamorous feud for Punk compared to what folks would likely get with Seth but it’s probably the best choice if Seth is out. Judgment Day is all over the product anyway so may as well give them one of the top prizes.

Hopefully he can get some rest as it doesn't look like he is defending at the Rumble for now.

Gunther would (and has) been wrestling more than once a month, just he recently became a dad.

Hindsight 20/20 Jinder should won Hingsight 20/20 NOOOOO! Absolutely not. I don't care if Seth suffered a heart attack in the ring and then a safe fell on him like he was Wile E. Coyote, Jinder still should not be winning that title.

Wade Keller was speculating this morning that either they're going to make it a storyline-- ala Seth's back-- or the news may be bad and Seth may need to make an announcement on Raw, because none of his sources are willing to comment on it. Yay, tense weekend for me, here we come. I was already feeling yesterday that the silence around it so far might not be a good thing, then Keller said the same thing.

If worse comes to worst hindsight 20/20 isn't giving the belt to Jinder. It's working on your bad wheel and possibly putting your big Mania main event in jeopardy.

If he can do a little they got the easy way out, Priest cashes in and wins. Then you can get the belt to whoever you want it on for Wrestlemania (Cody, Punk Drew)

Man, Punk/Rollins not happening would be a supreme bummer. It might lead to some fun hot potato in the meantime to get them to some sort of passable Mania Title match (IMO Drew/Punk and Cody/Punk are probably the only real options), but that's a bummer. Dark horse candidate: If Sami's ready to come back, Sami/Punk might be a fun main event and something they could probably heat up fast enough to be worthy of the night 1 main event slot.

Punk Cody would be the biggest match they could do, but Cody jobbing on a huge scale before Roman to a belt he doesn’t even really want Urgh….likewise, him even winning it would see..like a whimper. Hate to say it. I guess Punk/Drew would be the best option. Or you could do Drew vs priest for the title. Cody versus punk in a regular match. Rhea vs Becky main events.

I feel like Rhea/Becky is the main event either way if Seth can't go. I also suspect while Punk might be grumpy about it quietly with friends, I think he'd be cool with the women main eventing over him for the most part. I've talked myself into liking the idea of Sami vs. Punk because Sami/Punk might have a good "heart and soul vs. dollars and cents" type of feud over the belt. It'd be mean getting the belt onto Punk at Elimination Chamber, but it'd be good.

I'm wondering if they put the belt on the line in the Rumble or wait till Elimination Chamber? Seems like it might be a worst case scenario with Seth….

Wasn’t there a backstage report that Seth was able to put weight on his knee. I’m really hoping it’s not that bad.
