Wasn’t there a backstage report that Seth was able to put weight on his knee. I’m really hoping it’s not that bad. Yeah he was walking around backstage, and Boozer said he’s good, FWIW. Although sometimes with knees you can seem fine right after and then imaging reveals some damage.

Looking back at the things Seth said when he tore everything back in 2015.
Let’s see, we were in Dublin, Ireland, first night of the tour and I was in the main event. I was setting up to do something I’ve done a million times — flipping over my opponent while he was standing on the second [rope]. I landed underneath him and then picked him up for a Powerbomb. And for whatever reason, I just landed on the inside of my right foot, instead of flat with my feet and my knee gave. If you’ve seen the video, you know it looks pretty graphic. It didn’t feel as graphic though. It just felt like my knee dislocated and then kind of popped back in. So, I hustled back up and got underneath, made sure my feet were steady and delivered the Powerbomb. Then, I did a self-evaluation real quick to see what was going on. I realized my knee was pretty unstable and noticed that it felt like it was flopping around. I didn’t feel like I had a lot of control under it. I was able to move around enough to finish the match, hit a Pedigree and get the win. Afterwards, I just laid there and [tried to] figure out what was going on. Again, I wasn’t in a whole bunch of pain, I just felt like my knee wasn’t right. I wasn’t really sure of the extent of the damage until the next morning when I got the MRI.

The continued silence on it has me feeling like it's probably serious. Usually by now it feels like we probably would've heard a, "Yeah, he's fine," but it's been very quiet.
If it is a problem, I'd probably just have Balor / Priest for the belt in a semi-main and go with Rhea / Becky closing night one. Punk could face Drew or something.

Make Punk wait another year to get his main event and it honestly fits better. Make 40 be about Cody/Roman and with the Roman reign officially over, 41 is full steam ahead for the CM Punk main event story.

When was the last time there was this much silence on an injury? Lyra Valkyria was out of action for over a year during her NXT UK run after a match with Jinny, and there wasn't really an update reported on her ACL tear/knee injury from any journalist.

Yeah, the longer this goes, the more concerned I get. I know people were getting tired of his run but the guy was working his ass off all last year. Even before the WHT, the dude was frequently the main event on RAW-brand house shows.

Even if Seth never gets a advertised headline for mania, atleast he has his mania 31 cash in moment, which I think ranks above some of the guys that even won their mania main event

Mania 41 can be punk vs Cody for the wwe title night 2 That's if Punk still has what it takes. If not, do a Jake Roberts at KOTR 1996 with him sometime before then.

I wouldn't be surprised if keeping the Punk on a limited schedule will allow him to work maybe two or three WrestleMania's. Matches like the one with Joe at All In show he can still hold up his end of the bargain. The Double or Nothing injury was kind of a fluke thing. I doubt we'll be seeing him doing a ton of suicide dives anymore, though.

My mind immediately went to Cody oddly invoking Steve Austin. "You sit there and you preach about your straight edge, you repeat your mantras, and it didn't get you anywhere. Talk about your pipe bombs, talk about it being clobbering time. "Codying Time" is when I whip your ass!"

Yeah I don't like the silence either
Hoping it's not serious but this feels like "Our plans for the immediate future just went up in smoke and everything has to be re-written and set in stone before we officially announce things"
Which would include potential advertisement and marketing and appearances already set up months in advance if Seth is no longer going to be able to compete for some time... we'll see but normally we hear something one way or the other by now, this feels like they need to seriously regroup and reassess.

What gives me some optimism is that he finished the match and (apparently?) walked to the back on his own. If there's reports to the contrary let me know. Most ACL/MCL/quad injuries are immediate match-enders, and even when HHH finished the tag match he had to be helped back by the refs to not aggravate it further.
This is the danger to having a 'fighting champion' for this long of a period without switching it up. Even Nakamura having the title for a month would've reduced his workload for house shows and weekly TV before winning it back. I'm hoping it won't keep him out for Mania and they can build it with promos and a structured match.

Hindsight 20/20 Jinder should won Hingsight 20/20 NOOOOO! Absolutely not. I don't care if Seth suffered a heart attack in the ring and then a safe fell on him like he was Wile E. Coyote, Jinder still should not be winning that title. Yeah... if they needed to take the title off him, the only way that match should have ended would be Priest cashing in and walking out the champion... possibly by pinning Jinder.

Could just be something like landing wrong, not necessarily a result of his schedule. The previous injury that kept him out for a long time was just that, he landed wrong doing something he's done countless times.

He comes down hard on the knees and he’s selling it for the rest of the match.

Fingers crossed he's ok. There've been a couple of long-term injuries lately so fingers crossed he's not badly hurt like Charlotte or Cora.
