Do we know if this happened when he landed the springboard moonsault? That seemed like when he first started favoring the knee, and the announcers picked up on it. No fault of Jinder's whatsoever.
I wouldn't mind Seth "addressing his status" on Raw by saying he's proud to be a fighting champion, but he needs to "pull a Roman" and take some time off.

"Torn MCL, partially torn meniscus" tells me that Seth has fully torn his MCL. It would have been "Partially torn MCL and meniscus" if he had partially torn both.

Something else you could do that might give you some wiggle room is to have Priest steal the title then have Punk win it from him. Then if Seth's cleared in time you could do the original match but with Seth challenging for the belt he never really lost. The tricky part is Seth was already getting stale as champion, so if he wins it back at Mania they'd have to be ready pretty quickly to take it off of him. If they were planning for GUNTHER to win the belt in the Summer, they may want to push that up.

I don't like the idea of Priest getting it by forfeit or getting it handed to him. I'd rather the winner of the Rumble or Elimination Chamber get the title.

Clearly this man was so afraid of Phil that his MCL tore itself to avoid him.

Wait...has nobody mentioned Okada yet?
Okada/Punk, Night 1. Roman/Cody, Night 2. The Rock shows up at Sakura Genesis. Let's get NUTS.

In the likely event that Punk isn't going to be able to face Rollins, I have the perfect opponent for Phil in Philly

It's a pretty easy route even if he can't go till mania
Punk wins rumble
Punk v Drew grudge at chamber
Chamber match that Cody wins to face Roman
Mania Cody v Reigns, Punk v Rollins

If that Aussie show doesn’t have Rollins or Roman on it, then Rhea has better main event then.

Probably the perfect time to have Priest cash in and then Punk beats him for the title at Elimination Chamber. Or if Seth isn’t ready, have Punk beat Priest at Mania.

By the way, this is a perfect example of why they won't do Roman/Rock on Night 1 and Roman/Cody on Night 2. All you need is one freak landing and your Night 2 main event is f***ed.

Make the Rumble for the title. Have Cody enter number 1 and win. Have Priest cash in on a guy who just went 80 minutes and beat him in three seconds. Just so I can laugh and laugh and laugh

Well if Seth's addressing his health situation and gonna be at RAW, Priest kind of HAS to cash in whether he's gonna relinquish it willingly or not or he's going to look like the biggest moron in the whole known universe right??

One reason I could maybe see to not do Priest is because it kind of offers you a great out to get to Roman / Cody at SummerSlam if you're wanting to do Rock first. Like you could do Cody / Punk night one, Cody wins but then Priest cashes in on him on Raw. Cody still hasn't gotten his happy ending and you can factor it into returning to the Roman feud by way of him pointing out that even when Cody got the job done he just lost it immediately compared to how long Roman's been champion.

Not just Cody/Roman at SummerSlam but you could end up doing Seth/Punk, too. Those are two huge matches for that one show. I don’t love it because I really want Cody to just beat Roman at Mania but they’re clearly in a pickle.

I don't think he would get the title awarded to him, if Seth's injury is severe they could just have him cash in MITB and win the title. As of now he's not on the Rumble PPV so he could use the time to rest up.

I’d have priest cash in to bide time until elimination chamber. He can lose it to either Drew or back to Seth if healthy.

They're only in a pickle since Punk/Rollis was likely going to be the Night 1 Main Event, but that's pretty easily fixed by moving Rhea/Becky up. I don't see why you'd interrupt the Cody/Roman story for it. Especially if Rock's already committed (per reports) for doing the match at EC.
