I hope the rankings are handled better this time. Notably Dark does not exist. So every match that contributes to their AEW records will be televised. I love it because I feel like it keeps bookers honest and sensible. |

I'm cool with the rankings being back, but I just want them to use them in a way that leaves booking flexibility; once any gimmick like that gets too stringent, bookers immediately start looking for the quickest way around them when a situation arises, so best to leave things broad and easy to adjust as needed.

I'm really happy with the rankings coming back, I think they can use them a bit better now and it'll also matter even more for the C2 wins and losses

The rankings feel like they’ll be a tad logistically difficult with no Dark. I wonder if ROH wins will count?

As long as there some defined rules to them, like the champion has leeway to select challengers but must defend against the number one contender at the PPV. Or even top 3. Just make sure there’s logic to it that still allows them to have stuff like Joe/Hook |
