What kinds of spots that have never been done before that would you like to see in the Royal Rumble?
I don't think these ones have happened yet:
- 2 guys in the ring slugging it out before #30 comes out. Both guys dump each other over the top rope, #30 automatically wins the match without eliminating anybody. Would be a great spot for an up-and-coming heel.
- Babyface world champion loses title earlier in the night because of shenanigans then goes on to enter and win the Royal Rumble for a guaranteed title rematch.
- Comedy jobber babyface does the impossible and wins. #Justice4SantinoRR2011

Got screwed out of the title against Lashley, then entered the Rumble at 30 and won.

I always wanted an Iron Sheik kind of wrestler, someone who would wear those curly boots to get thrown over the top rope, only for the boot to hook the rope, thus saving him.
Two gigantic guys get into a sumo shoving match, only for one guy to be pushed into the ropes with such force that the ropes break and one (or both) tumble out.
R Truth as MITB holder, gets eliminated from the match...only to try to cash in his briefcase to re-enter. Or alternatively, after someone wins the Rumble, he tries to cash in so that he can be the Rumble winner.

I really wanted them to this with Owens and Ambrose in 2016 but here it is.
Pretty much the match before the rumble (not a world title match) is some kind of hardcore match in a blood feud between two guys. It's a WAR ends in some sort of no-contest, and they both get helped to the back. After the ring announcer does the usual prelude to the rumble match, those two guys are named entrants 1 and 2 for the rumble and They continue where they left off.

-The biggest one I want to see is the surprise nostalgia entrant winning. Santino is a good call for this. -A wrestler that can teleport using their teleportation to win. -The Rumble where a faction dominates and then actually wins. They have does this in spots but then some superhero always eliminates them. What I want is like once the New Day all get in there, they just start wrecking everyone. They are the final 3, then like Wood and Langston would just bail and give it to Kingston.

Would be a great spot for an up-and-coming heel. That would be a huge wet fart of a spot and would do nothing for the heel. Much better if the heel actually eliminates someone to win, for example, two dudes are fighting on the apron, one is eliminated, then number 30 slides out from under the ring, yambags the dude on the apron then powerbombs his opponent through the announce table to win.

As a talent is making his way to the ring, a guy is press tossed out of the ring onto him.

It's been done to death and there and it just reveals too many logical fallacies. If Kofi can stay in the match because he stands on pancakes, why not just layer the entire outside in pancakes so no one can ever be eliminated.

We almost had that last one for Orton's first Rumble win with DiBiase Jr. and Cody distracting Triple H enough for Orton to eliminate him.

People are always pitching this '30 wins automatically' thing and that just feels like a massively anticlimactic suggestion. But now there are two Rumbles maybe one could do it and the other have a good ending

Brock did the lose title win rumble one and it was genuinely shit.
Legacy stayed United in 2009 and Orton won.
The Kofi pancake bit was excellent. Everyone focuses on the pancakes which is just a necessary maguffin for Kofi leaping a good twelve feet in the air and over Jinder back into the rings which is one of the damnedest bits of athleticism I've seen.
I'd accept all the smoke and mirrors in the world and folk napping outside to see someone try to book a rumble where the first person eliminated is number thirty!

As far as the "#30 wins without touching anybody" suggestion, I can see two ways where it could work...
-#30 is an incredibly influential stable leader. Minions attack everyone #29 and lower and eliminate them (and also themselves, if applicable) in order to ensure a victory for their beloved leader. Ties into the "stable domination" idea from earlier. Bray would have been perfect for this.
-The standard "two clumsy guys eliminate each other" spot. #30 is someone under a non-compete clause that will be up by WrestleMania, but WWE can build a super-buzzy debut/championship match.

Not even an ending, but a spot.
Have a Spike Dudley type enter early in the match, possibly even number 1.
They take an absolute beating throughout the match, to the point they're basically dead by the end.
Then have 2 big guys basically use their lifeless body as a weapon, throwing him at each other, grab his legs and git the other guy with them etc.

I honestly think this is how Punk should have returned. Chicago was great for the show-closer fakeout and the pop, but for me they've been way too slow build/drip feed since and they had the perfect opportunity to do it this year. If you only announce say, 25-26 participants, had Brock in early to do his thing and score a ton of fast eliminations, Brock gets tossed by Gunther which sets up Gunther/Brock for Mania, but you could have the final few come down to any combination of Cody, Gunther, AJ Styles, LA Knight, Sami, Jey, hell maybe even don't declare a couple of them for the match so they're a plausible candidate for #30. You have 2 viable winners in the ring do the double elimination right before #30, commentary go nuts at how whoever comes out wins by default even saying how it could be anyone from AJ Styles to Dominic Mysterio, buzzer hits, CM Punk returns and wins by default and now the setup is his first real match back will be at Mania for the title, who's he going to pick.

I wouldn't hate it in a comedy focused battle royale or something, but not in the royal rumble. It probably has been done but I like the idea of two giant wrestlers doing a cruiserweight tossing contest mid match just to see who can eliminate more. Or has anyone explicitly said they are going for the eliminations record? (Currently Lesnar with 13)

First entrant is a goofball character and falls out of the ring before 2 gets there so he gets eliminated

First of all, what I would like to see this year.
At least 1 (or both) winners entering at numbers that have NOT won yet (4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 15, 20, 21, and 26 not sure I am missing any others).
I think they need to take a break from winners coming in at 1 or 2. It's fine every few years or teasing it with by them lasting a long time, but the "entering at beginning to win it all" loses its appeal when it happens all the time.
Also hold off with #30 winning for a few years, mainly since both last 2 Male winners came from there.
More for after Rumble but I would like to see the Male winner WIN at Wrestlemania, OR at least NOT lose to Roman which happened to the last 3 winners.
And nor have to be this year but be fun to see once.
The already mentioned "everyone else is eliminated and #30 automatically wins".
NOBODY is eliminated before #30 comes out, then for first time ever all 30 are in the ring at once! Be interesting how they play this out to keep the whole match interesting (would still have to tease eliminations and maybe have fun spots too). An added bonus would be if despite being the last to enter, #30 would be the first eliminated lol!
One year instead of winner being amongst the same 3-5 suspects or a suprise return, the winner is someone is has NOT received any mega push and they randomly decide "OK Johnny Gargano is going to win and be our Cinderella story"
