We don't know it was even as much as that. I'm sure they all knew Vince was screwing around etc. but that doesn't mean they didnt think it was consensual and the NDAs were just cos of money and Linda. We may find out differently, and certainly Johnny Ace seems to have know, but not beyond that as yet. Yeah there’s a lot of jumping to conclusions to pin more blame on other people it seems, rather than honing in on what we know to be true so far, and just hoping it is looked into further to see the extent of what others knew. I wish the mods would put the kibosh on it too since quite frankly, this insistence on accusing people with no evidence is flat out wrong |

Atrocious. I feel so bad for his victims. Most likely thinking putting up with it would make their lives better through money or fame. Only to just be some gross old man’s play things.
I’m supposed to watch the Rumble with friends. It’s none of the wrestlers fault, but WWE is so intrinsically linked to Vince, I’m considering not going. It’s just revolting stuff here.
I get why people don’t, and I’d never pressure them to, but I’d love to hear people like Maria or Eric Young who clearly hate Vince, be able to openly talk and give details. Fry this old mother f***er even more. Look into what happened to Ashley. It’s just all so sad, and a story that repeats because money makes men feel like gods, and sadly our society largely lets them off the hook. I hope this time he gets what’s coming.

The thing with higher ups in WWE comes down to a very strong likelihood that even those that didn't have specific information about this stuff also knew not to ask certain questions about Vince in general. Plausible deniability from lack of inquiry is depressingly common in shady companies, and WWE is no exception.

I don't disagree some people had to have known. But to a small extent, I will play devil's advocate and say taking action is easier said than done when you're part of a huge company. You can't just call the cops and report Vince's behavior without huge ramifications, whether direct retaliation from McMahon or forcing the closure of the company and putting a lot of people out of work.
All that said, let's hold off on pointing fingers until we know stuff and why it all happened.

To put in perspective, from my only experience with things like this.
I worked with politicians(I am a game programmer but I did game for kids and teaching things like recycling,etc) and I have heard of people talking about how governors would take 16 Year old boys to the Sauna. Shit is disgusting and runs deep.Worst part is knowing I couldnt do shit, but the people talking spoke like it was no big deal.
I couldnt know who the boy was, or even where, or even had anyone to tell, but the people talking knew more, people at the top trickle down information.Its a reverse snowball.

Yeah, if we're going to split hairs on that, then we may as well shut down the entire thread because all we're discussing is a Civil Complaint with allegations against Vince McMahon which he is certain to deny in his Answer, and for which he has not yet been held liable in a court of law. But, like, where there's smoke, there's fire...and we, the Court of Public Opinion, are going to discuss that fire. It's the whole point of a discussion forum. |

If Vince was sharing photos, pimping this poor girl out to people, and had a goddamn groupchat talking about it, there’s little chance that anyone in the upper level at Titan Towers didn’t know…and if some top wrestlers were involved I’m sure that there were rumors even among the talent. People that think they’re untouchable say a lot of dumb shit that they shouldn’t be saying.
