What's very fair to point out: no one knows the extent of what Triple H knew. He does line up pretty closely with "Corporate board member #1" or whatever that is in the lawsuit, but even if he did get the NDA signed and "knew", it doesn't tell us exactly what he knew vis a vis the severity of the abuse. All fair points.

But as was said earlier in this thread, there's just been way too many instances over the years of corporate Triple H looking the other way when something bad comes along and doing a shitty job in front of a mic when having to handle those problems. If it's true he went out of his way to say something like this (Nemeth's account is from 8 years ago, the story itself from more like a decade ago) that's even worse.

Still doesn't mean we can say anything for sure about how culpable he is in this case, but it's tough to ignore that kind of track record.

I think as well it is worth noting that this was spoken about 11 years ago (so it could be going back even further), Triple H was new in his first real office job, 2024 Triple H is not gonna be the same person. Not excusing or denying anything, just think it's worth noting.

And it's an anecdote from a guy who defended Flair so I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I know that this won’t end the scandal, but I hope to God that HHH knew Nothing about this. I know HHH is not a saint due to him burying wrestlers 20 years ago but it seemed like compared to Vince, he is the lesser of the two evils. I know that that is not a high bar though.

Vince played with a Monkey's Paw and it bit him hard in the ass

Horrible shit came out about him, he tapdanced out in front of crowds multiple times and played it like a joke

He sold the company and left power, then tried to fight back into power, and then settled with basically becoming a mascot as long as he could be around

And then MORE horrible shit, somehow topping the last pile of shit came out, and now he is just straight up gone, forever, and hopefully even worse happens to him outside of it in a court of law

All he had to do was stay gone, and his ego wouldn't allow it. Horrible human being gets what he deserves.
