He's introducing the aew and roh 10 man tag titles, combining them with Ddt's version and holding a tournament for them.
15 new belts! Doesn't get bigger than that. Ftr, Garcia, Briscoe and Mao cosplaying as CMao Punk as inaugural champions.

The announcement itself might not be Mone or Okada, but might be an obvious sign. Like announcing that episode of Rampage in Chicago and making it obvious it was Punk's debut.

That he's hiring a GM to make the big announcements from now on?
Please?

That he's hiring a GM to make the big announcements from now on? Please? Or hiring a real booker to counter the fact that he's a matchmaker? ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

There are loads of people who book the show in addition to Tony these days. Such a boring, clichéd thing to say.
Absolutely fascinating how much Tony antagonises people, hope his announcement is so pointless it legitimately makes people cry this time

But lately I've come to the following belief about the two major organizations' philosophies, not saying either approach is 100 percent quality or perfect. WWE is "How do we get to this match/story?" and AEW is "Wouldn't it be cool if...."

Deonna/Toni Storm doesn't have a coherent story to get to a specific goal? Hangman/Omega? The C2 tournament was literally "how do we get Eddie/Mox and further cement him as a main eventer." Tony definitely does "cool match just to have a cool match" at times, but to say he doesn't have a long term goal for stories when our biggest issue with him at times is the fact he doesn't pivot away from that long term vision when something else would make sense is an incorrect statement.

Even WWE now leans into the "do a cool match" approach where they just pick two big dudes to have a fun brawl. Shows need to be a healthy mix.

That he's hiring a GM to make the big announcements from now on? Please? I could see The Bucks beating Sting and Darby at Revolution but to counter their new EVP heel characters, Sting is made the commissioner of AEW. He shows up once in a while, makes a match, hits someone with a bat. It's perfect.

Let me start off by noting what I say is just an observation and not an argument. It's really easy to tell a "cool match just to have a cool match" in AEW because it's got a Luchador in it.

Absolutely fascinating how much Tony antagonises people, hope his announcement is so pointless it legitimately makes people cry this time .. is it fascinating how much many have begun seeing him in a different light? Is it??
