Sorry if criticizing makes you cry. But lately I've come to the following belief about the two major organizations' philosophies, not saying either approach is 100 percent quality or perfect. WWE is "How do we get to this match/story?" and AEW is "Wouldn't it be cool if...." Did you seriously just use "ur triggered" as an argument about wrestling booking Get cucked ,snowflake

That he's hiring a GM to make the big announcements from now on? Please? Tony should use his Warner/Discovery connections and get Freakazoid! announcer Joe Lahey for this job as he has tons of experience in making important announcements every other week :

The McRib is coming back! I had one the other day. Just as disgusting as I remember. This is the first time in 10 years they’ve sold them in Canada. You know why they stopped bringing it back in Canada? Because they started doing it once a year for 3-4 years and killed the market for them, I was running a McDonalds at the time and my store had 30-40 cases of the f***ing things that we just couldn’t get rid of and ended up selling them to staff for $40 a case

Right, so Hangman/Swerve isn't long term storytelling? Cole/MJF wasn't? Deonna/Toni Storm doesn't have a coherent story to get to a specific goal? Hangman/Omega? The C2 tournament was literally "how do we get Eddie/Mox and further cement him as a main eventer." Tony definitely does "cool match just to have a cool match" at times, but to say he doesn't have a long term goal for stories when our biggest issue with him at times is the fact he doesn't pivot away from that long term vision when something else would make sense is an incorrect statement. Even WWE now leans into the "do a cool match" approach where they just pick two big dudes to have a fun brawl. Shows need to be a healthy mix. When I was a lad, back before the internet was really a thing, I was always really stoked when Raw or Nitro would start and the announcers would quickly say "what a match we have for you tonight!", and it'd be some bonkers match between two great mid-carders that had no purpose other than that it was fun to watch. Completely agree that shows need those.

Hopefully Mercedes will show up at Revolution without being advertised. Like with Punk on Rampage. CM Punk just got the Rampage debut in his home town and everyone knew that he was going to be there.

Completely agree that shows need those. He gets dunked on a lot, and stuff happened that derailed it, but there was a period where Matt Hardy had a tremendous amount of fan good will and JBL putting him over weekly for what seemed to be months of "Matt Hardy has good/great match with someone for like 15-20 minutes" on Smackdown every episode. It was probably where Miz first got to have a match where they really let him do much of anything. It really did help Smackdown feel like something I needed to catch every week, and even if you can't sustain that kind of pace forever, it can be pretty great for the health of a show.

Hopefully Mercedes will show up at Revolution without being advertised. Like with Punk on Rampage. CM Punk just got the Rampage debut in his home town and everyone knew that he was going to be there. Punk essentially was promoted without outright mentioning him. The fact they booked the United Center for that show, plus various wrestlers dropping hints meant that folks knew Punk was going to be there.
