It's interesting looking back at one of her TikToks on March 15th, getting ready for Smackdown, where she ironically didn't even make the show - a week after her pointless rematch with Michin, where it became obvious she wasn't getting a Mania match. www.tiktok.com/@tiffanystrattonwwe/video/7346635244604362014From 1.50 onwards "The last couple of weeks have been life changing for my career. Crazy because everything just happened overnight, like literally Elimination Chamber was life changing for me and my career, it really just kind of sped everything up, and I'm really really excited about this year. I have a really good feeling." So you would have assumed she would have been given some assurances. Sped everything up sounds like a title reign is on the horizon, since at this stage she had finished 4th in the Rumble, was 5-0 on Smackdown, got herself over on a PLE in Aus, stealing the show, and everything was looking so rosy at this stage. An ultimately unsuccessful title challenge in France, while good, is not that much better than being in a #1 contenders match in Aus, so she can't really be referring to that, and especially after missing Mania, and being a bit part in recent weeks, she currently feels much less hot than she did at the time of this video (she's still not won on TV since). When you see the likes of KC2, and Piper and Chelsea winning them and them being neglected for so long, potentially winning the tag titles isn't amazing either, and most midcarders on the roster could get their moment doing that, so she probably was referring to either winning QOTR or MITB, or becoming a world champion by the end of the year, but if she doesn't win MITB, which is looking less likely now, then I can't really see any huge moments for her in 2024. Even a potential midcard title reign would be modest for what many were expecting around this time.

i feel like there's going to end up being a bunch of backlash if tiffany really does end up being nia's lackey for a bit. it's not like they're gonna have the opportunity to turn it into some virgil thing, her character should be an asshole her entire career.
guess we'll see where this goes but it feels like a giant mistake.

Stratton's not being punished.
She wasn't a featured player for months after the Becky feud, being relegated to the same-length "nothing" cameos being pointed at now or missing TV outright. She wasn't in championship contention whatsoever. She won I believe twice on television from her title loss in September to eventual exit from NXT. She generally lost when she did make an in-ring appearance. And part of that yes, you can say was the character being cycled out. But it means that this recent patch is not indicative of this "sky is falling" mentality because she's not being handed the world on a Tiffany Pink platter right now.

She went 12-2 from the start of 2023 after getting her work done up until the Becky feud, but then yes, it was actually only 1 win after that from October until her call up (Fallon), and that was also as frustrating as you know what, and her booking was even worse then, but as you pointed out, it did feel like she was just waiting for the inevitable call, and there was obviously something potentially much much bigger just around the corner, and she was also putting others, or specifically Fallon, over before leaving the territory, but none of that applies here (and she's much more popular and more experienced now) - she has reached the big time, they gave her #29 and had her finish 4th in the Rumble, gave her a win streak, had her qualify for the Elimination Chamber early on, where she got herself over and turned into pretty much the biggest female merch seller, bar Liv, over the past couple of months (despite a very limited range). She felt like the hottest female property coming out of Perth, young, talented, over, but in no time she now feels like any other midcarder who will be lucky to be on TV, and it's seemingly no issue at all if she has a 6 second cameo one week and then off TV completely for the next 2 or 3 weeks. But I've come to accept she's not a priority at the moment, and the MITB win that I thought was absolutely nailed on 3 or 4 weeks ago is now looking far less likely and she'll probably just be given whatever scraps she can get until maybe Rumble season where hopefully they can build her up again. Makes no sense to hold off such a talented and popular star who is getting better all the time, but there's obviously nothing anyone can do about it. I can't guarantee I won't continue to vent on here each week though

I can see her turning face at some point, but yeah, I thought it would have been the other way round when Nia first joined Smackdown and she would end up being the muscle and protection to cocky, young upstart who went round pissing the faces off. I mean I guess this will probably result in a bit of direction for Tiffany, so I'll take it, but yeah, it's probably not how I would have gone.

I was conflating the one win she had in Iron Survivor with her two losses. No one said I can't be negative too!
But I'll still bang on the drum that Tiffy's clock isn't wrong just yet and she's going to be Ms. Money in the Bank.

I'm not even sure she will be in the MITB ladder match now, never mind actually winning it. Another meh episode for her. 6 weeks or so ago she would have almost certainly had her own entrance after Nia came out as a surprise guest commentator, rather than just being there, akin to a jobber. It's definitely been a shit 6 weeks for her since Backlash (or the IG incident...), but I guess she is somewhat being used.

Well, it is a thread specifically to discuss Tiffany. I assumed one that would generally be more of a fan / support group where posters would be pro the person in question, and it's hardly been a stellar 6 weeks for her, hence why it's rarely bumped these days, other than for said gloom

It really boggles my mind that Nia Jax is still getting a main event push in 2024 while the 25 year old phenom that got super over is on the backburner.
I mean I wouldn't doubt it that in a month from now Tiffany is World Champion and everybody will forget this but at the same time it's just another example of building talents up properly being a lost art when it really doesn't have to be that hard. Like if you have someone who has a ton of potential and is over why not just have them continuously win wrestling matches until they're ready move up the card? I don't know that sounds a lot more effective then not using them or losing or having pointless backstage cameos.

yeah I think most Tiffy fans are just a little bummed out, I’m really not too sure about this whole nia thing but if it gets her time on TV, cool. I’d really rather her get more matches in win or lose because that’s where she shines but we’ll have to see what happens
she’s gonna win one of the main titles within a year anyways and probably go on some Charlotte run eventually.

For my part I'd like her to wrestle on TV more, or get television time at all as one might say (I see you, even if I don't see Tiffy).
