I wonder if it is that IG incident affecting things and putting people off her, but this thread has definitely cooled off massively despite her being the hottest she's ever been, booking-wise. There's been like only 4 posts (3 of them mine  ) since the day after MITB almost 3 weeks ago and she's opened Smackdown since, and was a focal point of the show last week with that vignette and her briefcase being destroyed, but barely no traction at all. Lyra, who's booking has notably been cooled off since QOTR, has had 49 posts in her thread in that same time period. Quite strange as this thread was really active when I first joined. |

Here’s the thing with wrestling discourse… People who are content don’t tend to say much about it. Stratton’s getting an obvious push, one that seems set to fast track her to a world title potentially within weeks, after just over half a year on the main roster. Valkyria is also doing a silly bit teaming up currently with Chance and Carter, which either gives people a window to do their own silly bits about it, or a window to be upset about her booking because they think she’s above that pairing. |

Anyway, it's good to see her still being booked, busy and prominent in the WWEs eyes. She's was in Mexico the other week for live shows, and is currently in Japan for the 3 day tour (she was in a 4 vs 4 match today with DCTRL against Bayley, Meiko, Bianca and Jade), and she's also been added to the 3 German house shows before Bash in Berlin where I suspect she will be very popular (and may well cash in at the PLE).
I'm blocked on X by Shawn Michaels (or by whoever runs his account), the only wrestling personality I'm aware of that happening - I've never tweeted him or NXT directly as far as I'm aware, but assume it must have been due to my displeasure of Tiffy's awful post Becky NXT booking where she was effectively killing time and spinning wheels, but I (indirectly) see he put out a tweet the other day where Tiff and Jey have a meet and greet session the day before SummerSlam as part of an NXT tryout with live crowds. They were possibly just added as they are two of very few more prominent figures without a recognised match at SummerSlam, and popular merch sellers, but it's good to see they are putting her in these sort of events, this being shortly after her being a late addition to that Fanatics Fan Fest in mid August.
It's certainly been a see change for her in 2024. I remember in a pre Elimination Chamber interview she said she had never wrestled or even been outside of the US (and Canada since Minnesota is adjacent to it), but since her call up less than 6 months ago she has now wrestled in Australia, France, Canada, Mexico, Japan, soon to be Germany (hopefully), as well as making cameo appearances in Saudi and Scotland - it's definitely a far cry from being in NXT and predominantly staying in Florida.

It’s moreso the IG incident itself has cooled off and wasn’t much weight behind it to begin with thus, the discussion around it has slowed down, and 2nd, Tiff is getting the push we all wanted and getting more TV time and could possibly be getting the Woman’s Title soon so there’s not much else to discuss or do except go along for the ride |

Yeah, you'll clearly know more than me about how these things work, especially EoE being a moderator, but I do still find it a bit strange how the thread has pretty much died. Liv's thread certainly hasn't cooled down, and she's obviously everywhere at the moment. People can and do change avatars like their underpants, but I swear there was also at least 5 or 6 other Tiffy ones post Elimination Chamber, but think I'm Jason Deruloing at the moment (ridin' solo) . |

There’s also the way specific people post in those threads where they’ll post about literally EVERYTHING that woman does, on and off TV. Same with the Damage CTRL thread, with that mixed in with the bellyaching about their booking. This may be the most sedate stan thread on the board. |

Just looking back and on Feb 23rd the day before EC, the thread was at the top of page 3, by Feb 27th it was well into page 7, and then halfway down page 10 by March 11th, so that will be like what, 130/140 posts all within 3 weeks of her EC showing. I didn't even join the forum until March 16th! Skimming through, it does seem like the early days of the thread were heavily boosted by the same 2 or 3 posters, all of whom seem prominent posters here, and if they have lost a bit of interest then the thread is naturally bound to suffer with traction, but still, 3 posts in 3 weeks is extremely low, whichever way you look at it, especially compared to earlier in the year (when she was pushed), and before my time. The Elimination Chamber was admittedly a bit different as she came in a relative unknown and had something that won't happen in many careers whereby a lesser known non home favourite newbie steals the show, and the crowd, out of nowhere, and probably enters a lot of peoples radar properly for the first time, but even if she was the odds on betting favourite for MITB and many people's pick to win, it is still by far the most notable moment in her career, yet, it's kind of just 'meh' on here. She is my main interest in wrestling, by far, and I will respond to most things on this thread, as you'll know, but it's quite hard to do so when there's literally nothing to respond to |
