Let Tiff and Ludwig both be on the Berlin card.

After almost killing Chelsea Green at MITB Tiff almost took her eye out with that hair whip last night. Tiff is a dangerous woman!

Unrelated to the thread, but Denise sounds like Liv.

Just remembered this NYC Fanatics Fan Fest is next Saturday. There's only 15 from the WWE and most of them are far more accomplished than Tiff (as you'd expect), so a shiny new belt would obviously add something to her presence at the event, and make her inclusion seem a bit less random. I'd like her to keep a hold of the case for a few more months, but I'm starting to think that she's actually going to cash in next week.

It's the first time she's ever made one of these Smackdown promotional graphics. No guarantee that she will be featured heavily on the show, or even on it, as I'm pretty sure Bayley has been on them and got minimal / if any TV time, but still nice to see her be included in these sort of things, like she was in the Bash in Berlin commercial.
Nia on actually on the graphic next week, and then there's obviously that celebration tomorrow, so perhaps they are featured heavily the next 3 Smackdowns with the Berlin Smackdown being the payoff, like a Nia vs Bayley rematch, without any of them actually making the Bash card.

Tiffany was added late as a replacement for Charlotte Flair.

I know, but they still could have chosen a number of others as the replacement (although I'm not actually sure who decides who gets on these sort of things), but it could have been say IYO, Nia, Naomi, another legend like Trish, all reasonably big name former champs, or gone for another prominent male. Bar Jade, who they have obviously invested heavily in, even if she's not as far along as they would have hoped, Tiffany (understandably) is the least accomplished out of those involved from the WWE, which is why I was initially thinking she might have cashed in prior, and hence her inclusion. It looks like she was added mid July, a week after winning MITB, so from their POV, enough time to cash in and be a champ ahead of it, but also, more importantly, be the champ going into Berlin, a show that would mean a lot to her, but with Liv/Rhea now being added to the card (which guarantees women are included), as well as another rumoured high profile RAW match, plus possibly still to fit Kaiser and Ilja on somewhere, I'm now not convinced the Smackdown women's belt makes the PLE, so less point of a more rushed cash in. Fanatics was just a side quest to add more weight to my Berlin theory.

Man, that segment was just pure shite from start to finish.
Barely lasted 6 mins, no Tiffy entrance, and Michin involved again for some reason. It basically means they won't be on the Bash card as we've seen Nia vs Michin twice in the past 2 months, including a 90 second match in Glasgow, and she's clearly no threat at all. I was thinking Bayley at worst to get her rematch, or Charlotte at best, but the segment pretty much served no purpose, only that we may get a Tiffy face turn earlier than expected, which I'm not even sure is a good idea.
I was actually looking forward to that segment.

SD is very dull. Tiffy is one of the only fun things on the show right now.

I thought Tiffany did a lot better on the mic this time.
Nia, though...

I'm obviously a big fan, but she's still not great to listen to when live in the ring. I had hoped she would have improved in the past year, but it's still by far her weakest part to the game, but that is twice in the past 5 weeks she's opened the show on the mic, so hopefully she will get more comfortable and it will eventually seem more natural to her.
A bit of a wasted week in terms of development IMO, and a set back if anything. Many were thinking this is mainly an angle to benefit Tiffany and really get her over and make her look a star, in a similar way to Becky winning the BR and then Liv benefiting massively from that, but Tiffy did feel more like an afterthought here - I was at least expecting some follow up later in the show for her, and I dunno, I like Pretty Deadly and want them to do well being fellow Englishmen, but being paired with them again, and needlessly going back to Michin doesn't exactly scream top end of the card, it definitely feels lower mid cardy, despite the title and briefcase being on show - it's not exactly PLE card worthy, and I'd be shocked if any of those involved here were featured at Bash, and that would have been an important show for Tiff.
I was hoping for Charlotte to return, but failing that I was at least expecting Bayley to get her rematch and make it feel more significant. Meh.

I wonder why she never seems to wrestle these days? By my records she's only had 5 TV matches since Backlash on May 4th - the Bianca QOTR match, the MITB qualifier, the MITB match, the Michin loss, and then the Michin/Bayley tag match which was a double taping so the same crowd / gear etc. - we're effectively in September now, so 5 TV matches in 4 months is crazy for a young talent who should still be progressing.

Hopefully Tiffany and Bayley have a feud, and ideally Tiff wins to get that scalp and make her feel more Championship ready, but a feud nonetheless. She has had only had 3 wins since March 8th those being the MITB qual, MITB ladder match and the Nia tag match vs Michin/Bayley, where Nia got the pin - we've seen the PME in a match only once in what will very soon be over 6 months, and if she were to win the title in the coming weeks, it would feel massively out of place as her booking outside of the 3 week MITB window has been pretty poor since Backlash.
That is also the problem with this 5 match PLE era - respected former champion Bayley vs up and coming MITB holder Tiffany would have been a good PLE match back in the day, but it's got absolutely no chance of getting on one with this current minimal format.

Yeah, that's only her 6th match on TV since Backlash, including the taped episode. I still think they've done a poor job with her since Backlash. She kind of felt undeniable back them, like set for an all time rookie year, the seemingly obvious future, appeared hotter with the crowds, this thread was always packed, reports of big merch sales etc. I've been trying ages to upload a screenshot of a graph from socialblade for ages to no avail , but her Instagram follower gains are massively down from earlier in the year when she used to get 1000s of new followers a day, whereas now it's basically a couple of hundred. Seriously, how do you upload pictures that you have saved? socialblade.com/instagram/user/tiffanywweShe doesn't feel championship ready to me. Like it would seem weird if this time in 2 or 3 weeks she cashed in and was technically, or supposedly, leading an entire division on a brand. It does also feel like the actual cash in may be close as they surely can't string this story line and repeat cash in attempts for 5 or 6 months. I was thinking she'd therefore probably fail as it's too soon, she still might, but then I guess IYO followed a similar path on the main roster in terms of barely winning before suddenly becoming champ, albeit with about 12 or so previous years experience before she came to the WWE, so who knows.

Cashing in my doom post! I spent a long while defending her time on the main roster so I think I can burn some meter.
She's booked like a loser. But I don't think the character can own it and have it roll off like say a Chelsea Green or Arianna Grace can.
There's always caveats. She's got the briefcase which, as discussed, is like a massive debuff. There was a distraction. But what really made her - her wrestling - she rarely does, she can't help but lose on the off-chance she is booked, she hasn't hit her finish (is it still her finish?) in months and she's consistently cowed by Jaxx.
Now I'm sure when the matches do happen Nia will do all she can to make her look like a worldbeater. Even still she's lost a lot of shine. She doesn't feel at all like the person who took Becky Lynch to the limit a year ago.

WWE is obsessed with beating the briefcase holders constantly before they cash in. They do it all the time. I have no idea why because it’s stupid, but they do it.
Her MR booking has been, weird so far.
