Looks like Liv vs Nia at Crown Jewel (unless there's a cash in before them). No titles on the line, but not sure how that will affect Tiffany. If Nia is on Crown Jewel then can't see her being on Survivor Series as well, but we'll see how it plays out. Potentially winning her first title in Saudi would be a bit underwhelming IMO. Liv versus Nia is such an odd match. Makes me think that one of them, likely Nia, is losing their title before then because I don't even know how that match would work. Who would even be the face? Nobody likes Nia but Liv is a chickens**t heel who now has two people helping her. Yeah, it's strange. I guess Liv being a good looking blonde, and in Saudi, would sway the audience that way - I can't remember how the crowd were in the (early) heel Liv vs Becky match at Saudi, but I guess with Liv winning the title there, and Nia winning the QOTR there, they will both be familiar, so I think the match happens as it currently is, it just comes across as a weird match as you say given both are heels, and it's not really a 'dream match' if you had combos of say Charlotte/Becky/Rhea/Bianca or Bayley at a push. It would be cool if they had Tiffany in mind when thinking of this format. She could finally get herself back on RAW in the lead up - she was on the RAW episode before Elimination Chamber where they all had that in ring promo, and she was on RAW the episode before Backlash where she was watching Liv vs Nia IIRC and was then attacked by Naomi, but she's not appeared even once on the 12 or so RAWs since winning the briefcase, which is bizarre, but this would present the perfect opportunity. No titles on the line, so she couldn't turn it into a triple threat, but once the match is over she could bring a referee down to the ring and potentially have her choice of opponent to cash in on. She and Nia could bang on about Liv on the TV shows for the 2 or 3 weeks beforehand, and then boom, still cashes in on Nia. |

Nia vs Morgan is fine. Just have Nia beat Morgan and it does no damage to Liv's current character. She's a cowardly heel now. Liv was never and in ring ace where a loss would put a dent her character. Even as a face she was a scrappy underdog who was never expected to win the big one.
I still maintain that Tiffy's cash-in will come when they need to get the belt off Charlotte (or Bianca). That's what the case is for; to give preferred superstars protection in the title loss. I still love the MitB event, but the briefcase itself has gotten a little stale.
I don't like how the brief case holders don't even think about crossing brands now. Priest should have at least entertained the idea of cashing in on Roman. Tiffy with her and Nia's trust issues should be saying, "Don't worry Nia, I'm, going to cash in on Liv when the time is right".

The full pod is deadass the hottest of messes. Of note is Tiffany saying she wrestles so rarely she gets wary of going off the top rope now, being ghosted by Sabrina Carpenter, confirmation you can't cash in on Queen of the Ring, there's no pornography in Saudi Arabia and most importantly of all Iceland.
Midway through Stratton & Jaxx go. From the sound of it the hosts wish they could leave too.

By my reckoning it would be: Michin debut - Yes Zelina - Yes Liv - No Naomi - Yes Michin II - Yes (March 8th) And since then vs Candice in MITB qualifying and then twice in the lead up to Backlash, both times a double one on Naomi and Bayley, so if my maths and memory are correct, she's hit her finisher only 5 times in matches and on 2 other occasions, so 7 times overall in over 8 months, and only once in what will soon be 6 months. I know very little of Sabrina Carpenter, but seeing that she has 41m Instagram followers, it would be cool if WWE / The Rock could sort some sort of collaboration out. |

Oh and yeah, even if she targeted Roxanne, that would basically be WWE admitting they made a mistake with their MITB booking, regardless of how they are using Roxanne at the moment, but if she actually did go after Kehlani...  |

All four went on to be in tag where Tiffany was defacto face-in-peril, Nia jumped everyone not Tiffy, a cash-in was teased and Dom made the save. |

She can also back up her attitude in the ring. The moment she turns face you just know they will have her smiling like the cheshire cat, pandering to the fans via promo, high fiving them etc and she would lose all of that attitude and become boring generic nobody likes do gooders like The party girls, Zelena, Lyra, Kelani etc. Theres a reason people dont like faces, baby faces are boring and Tiffany is for me the epitome of what a heel should be. Heel vs Heel is the way to go here for sure with Nia. |

Spoilers are inevitable unfortunately in this social media age. Any search on X/Twitter and it will be what's xxx pairing up with xxx for, so it's extremely hard to avoid. Even a solitary random like or repost from someone on your timeline and you'll inevitably see something.
She's not really been booked like a heel for a long time now. Since winning MITB, or even before when she first paired with Nia in early June, she's basically been portrayed as a sympathetic underdog rookie who will get her arse handed to her whether that be in backstage / in ring segments or constantly losing matches, at least if she did turn face it would almost certainly automatically give her the upperhand in these exchanges, and she might hit her finisher and pick up a few wins. It's been a long time since we saw these aforementioned bitch / bully / arrogant traits from her and they have kind of backed themselves into a corner now.
It always felt when the announcement was made that the random Crown Jewel match pairing would be mainly centered around Tiffany and her briefcase in the lead up, so I am looking forward to seeing how these next few weeks pan out, and of course what happens either during, or most like after the PLE match.

There are worse fates than being an uncrowned champion. You could get enveloped in a ten woman tag team vortex! Or not be on television at all.
Stratton doesn't have that problem right now. She's been on multiple shows pushing whatever their gameplan is. But I still can't rationale how this is meant to be leading up to a face turn - as some have theorized. You'd think they wouldn't be calling her out as an inept dummy who can't stand on her own, loses time in/time out and is inevitably cowed by her friend who by all appearances she's aiming to betray anyway.
It's just... not very face-y, you know? Normally they'd have Nia injure her (not outside the norm for Nia to do), she returns for retribution, they say she's a good person now and call it a day. Instead they're doing a thing where Tiffany wavers come time to stick the knife, Jax catches her, someone gets one up on her either in a promo or a match before Nia pushes her around some more.

Her recent booking has been really strange. While some would have obviously been to establish her on the roster, before Backlash she obviously had her 5-0 streak, she was slapping Michin and Bianca, cockily asking Liv and Bianca who she should pin first at Elimination Chamber, closed Smackdown standing tall in the lead up to Backlash by double PMEing Naomi and Bayley, and then did the same the following week in the match where Nia got involved. So she was booked strong and on top more often than not, and that's probably what got the fans invested, but since Backlash, she pretty much always comes off 2nd best and always gets her ass handed to her.
Just off the top oh my head:
Michin threw her across the announcers desk in Glasgow during her squash defeat to Nia
Michin slapped her backstage during the MITB qual period where Nia charged her
Michin attacked her with her kendo stick in the Jax celebration with Pretty Deadly
Bayley chased her away during the Bash in Berlin title match where she got her feet caught
Got a rear view from Naomi when when they announced that weird tornado tag the following week
Got choked by Nia in that 'Sabrina' 'J-Lo' segment
Got dropped by Bayley the day before Bad Blood when she called her Pam
Got a nuggie from Nia on the most recent episode of Smackdown, and then got dropped by a Naomi kick without getting a single bit of her own offense in
I can honestly barely remember a time in the past couple of months where she came out looking good / strong. So not only is she constantly losing now, her rivals are always getting the upper hand on her in backstage and in-ring segments and while I get some of it like the Nia choke is part of a wider story to garner sympathy, it's generally making her look like a proper loser. Some of those earlier segments in June could have been 'punishment booking' following that IG incident, but she doesn't look like a bad ass, the Bron female counterpart, who could win the title at any moment like she did in the lead up to Backlash (which is ironic since she has the case), she now really does look like an obvious rookie who has only been on the roster 8 months and only doing this for 3 years, and anything but a threat, or someone who could technically be leading a division in the coming weeks / months.
Seriously, outside of MITB, when was the last time she ended a segment looking strong?
I'm sure it will likely end well, and they will probably know what they are doing, but it's definitely not the booking I would have had for her coming out of Backlash.

Even house shows. Obviously the results don't matter and nobody knows about them outside of the 3-10,000 who turn up, or a few thousand more who see posts and videos online, and normally the face goes over in non title face vs heel matches, but while it's one thing losing to the Champion at the time in Bayley, or a non tile match to a top of the card Bianca or Rhea, at the moment she's losing to Naomi. Whenever they have had a match on TV, and they've had a fair few, Tiffy has had at least equal, if not more, crowd support, so the 'sending them home happy' shouldn't really apply here. They both came in at the same time at the Rumble, Tiffany was part of that 4 in a line photo, having made the final 4/5, Tiffy pinned Naomi at Elimination Chamber before arguably stealing the show, Tiffy was the one who didn't get pinned at Backlash, Tiffy was the one who won MITB, all matches involving Naomi, so she really should be considered above her, and thus, it feels strange going abroad, having a singles match and losing to someone who is, or certainly was until recently, considered lower down the card than her. She probably is happy to go to new countries and get more reps in and would likely prefer to be jobbing to Naomi than not on live shows at all, I think, but she's probably not happy to have gone 10 matches (and no doubt 12 by the time this UK tour is over) without a win, especially as someone who is still kind of learning on the job - it doesn't exactly scream next in line top of the division, and probably isn't doing her confidence much good, having already said she's more wary of going on the top rope these days. She did have a little slip during her entrance in Liverpool this evening, but to be fair, she did brush it off well. |
