I'm sure this will go well for the company... The guy who wanted to kill Heyman at a Wrestlemania and the same guy who excused Ric Flair's disgusting conduct as "Ric being Ric"

"It's not Tommy Dreamers. It's just a committee filled with a bunch of dudes including Tommy Dreamers" doesn't really inspire the confidence they think it does. In fairness he was on the last creative team with Scott D'Amore in charge, too. Not that pre-TNA Impact's creative was anything to write home about, but it worked as far as supporting the matches went. Not great, but certainly not bad either except for some stuff like Honor No More and Violent By Design/The Design going on way too long. Granted this was all under Scott's stewardship, and I have no idea how the direction will change under the new Anthem suits assuming direct control. It was a misreport also that Tommy was in charge. They basically are saying for now the creative team under D'Amore were Dreamer, Gail Kim, RD Evans, and Delirious. The creative team will be the same

I like to think that Anthem themselves leaked the Tommy Dreamer Head Booker story so that everyone would feel way better about literally anyone else that was put in charge lmfao

TNA quickly disputing Dreamer being in charge feels like when someone assumes you're in a relationship and she goes "oh god no"

Meltzer clarified on Observer Radio that he was told that Dreamer is in charge of creative by one of TNA's business partners as that's what they were told. It could just be that Dreamer is their point person or that he is generally the one with the final say. But it makes sense that if you have a business partner, you'd give them one name to reach out to as opposed a committee.

I had no idea Delirious ended up in TNA! Very interesting.

I had no idea Delirious ended up in TNA! Very interesting. Yeah, they brought him on board for creative after Sinclair shut ROH down. He's only had a handful of matches for them, but then he's very much a part-timer these days anyway. He's also had a couple of matches for GCW and US-based NJPW shows, too.

So, who else is expecting this Cicone guy to walk out on the next TNA show, then pull his face off like a Mission Impossible mask to reveal Dixie Carter and that this has been her plan to regain the company the entire time?

Thanks for that, super interesting. Always found him to just be an okay booker but I'm sure he can contribute on a committee.

More interesting stuff Ed Nordholm is also gone from Anthem. Who was the first guy that took over TNA before they named Scott as president.

Hard not to see this as a bunch of top talent counting down the days until they are free to go elsewhere, but who knows?

This is crazy to witness. When Vince came back, only Eric Young walked. When Dixie and Anthem screwed over Corgan, nobody went with him. The only places you see people this loyal to someone being screwed by the owners is in the schisms of Japanese promotions. D'Amore is respected by his people on a level kind of wildly beyond anything you usually see in major American wrestling, this is insane.

When Dixie and Anthem screwed over Corgan, nobody went with him. Pretty sure Jay Bradley, who was in TNA at the time as Aiden O'Shea, went with him. Was the only one who did, though.

I do think there are talent walking over this, how many and where they go might be dependent on where Scott ends up, WWE, AEW, his own new promotion he could theoretically start up?
Unless Anthem proves to them TNA will be completely fine without Scott, and I do not see that happening...
