LOLTNA. If I had to pick one person most responsible for TNA still being in business the past seven years, it would be Scott.
As a certain racket wielding manager astutely pointed out in one of his tirades, the easiest way to ruin a wrestling company is to introduce suits.
This is just weird. If Scott wants it, I'm sure he won't be unemployed for long.

What is wild is none of the locker room knew, they all found out when it hit the internet. Suffice to say a lot of people are shocked.

TNA doesn’t really have that big of a ceiling either. What are they really expecting to get out of this?
They make a decent wrestling show but they are at their best when they say we’re number three and we’re going to do our own thing.
What is their brand anyways? The co own the network that has concerts and impact. Some minor league UFC. Up till five I thought they did ticketing for major concert venues, but I guess that’s a different AXS. This isn’t A24 nobody has said anthem sports and entertainment… this is gonna be good.
What are they going to do put the owl back on the logo?

They have proven very worthy of owning the name.

They really fired the one guy who turned the company around, and got it on the right track. So incredibly stupid. That happens more often than you think in real life. Someone manages to save or make a company money and gets fired once they've outlived their usefulness

Most underrated super concerning bit is the fact that Anthem execs literally had to call and ask to find out how TNA operates. "hey why are u calling me" "no reason just thinkin about business...what's goin on over there? <3"

So to kick off 2024:
- Kevin Dunn is fired - Okada leaves New Japan - The Rock becomes part WWE Owner - RAW is moving to Netflix - The Vince McMahon Bombshell upturns WWE and he is ousted - Seth Rollins gets injured, Mania in doubt - Punk is severely injured in his first wrestling stint back to WWE and now out months - Cody Rhodes is f***ed over by The Rock because he wants to be the star and fans go apeshit - Ogawa is fired from STARDOM - Scott is fired from TNA for basically no reason other than Anthem wanted control
This has all happened in the span of basically a month... 2024 needs to f***ing calm down, holy shit...

Impact is more of a family than any other company. Scott has been riding with some of those guys for over 25 years..I don’t see this ending well, but will give it the benefit of doubt maybe roster shake up could raise their profile a little bit, I don’t see a lot the roster that was tight with Scott sticking around.

This is f***ing stupid. If I owned a wrestling promotion, I'd sure as hell want D'Amore to run it, not some faceless corporate suit. I'm willing to bet those were the only two wrestling shows this guy's ever attended in his life. He sounds like Dixie.

How the f*** do you describe the beginning of 2024 for wrestling?

"This move is intended to further integrate TNA Wrestling into the Entertainment Group of Anthem Sports & Entertainment as we work to leverage the resources of the entire company to add more value in areas such as production, distribution, marketing, viewership, customer acquisition, digital revenue streams, ad sales and sponsorships, and digital tech operations, among others."
Oh sick, corporate speak, that'll get the fans on board!
TNA! TNA! TNA!

There really is something to be said about Impact going back to the TNA name with all the momentum in the world, people being worried because of how cursed TNA is as a name (LOLTNA after all), and then IMMEDIATELY after the first "TNA is back!" event... this happens.
Maybe the TNA name actually IS a curse lol

Scott should land on his feet in AEW or WWE

Massive loss for TNA Scott should land on his feet in AEW or WWE If there is one hundred percent zero drama surrounding him that for some reason hasn't been made public and it's just Anthem being the biggest idiots on the planet, WWE or AEW are absolutely going to hire him I would think and he's already gotten phone calls.

Sounds like Anthem is trying to be TKO Lite.
Corporate Wrestling. Eric Bischoff warned us all, but you guys are too busy talking about the finish of Starrcade 97 to realize there may not even be wrestling by the next 97 on a large scale.

The wording in that statement makes me guess that Anthem plans to imitate wwe. I can see these dopes in suits thinking that's the key to success.

f***ing morons. 'Scott did a great job, so we booted him'. What the f*** are you doing? I do hope that this is just corporate idiocy and not that Scott did something horrible. I've literally been moving my budget around so I can try to subscribe to TNA, and now they've given me a huge reason to just, not.
