I think it's going back to what AEW wanted to be but with better presentation and a stronger roster. Wrestlers either developed or were replaced by new prospects are by free agents.
I've said before, I think some of the the "AEW is becoming WWE lite" discussion was overblown a bit, but seeing the show from the Continental Classic to now made me re-evaluate things a bit... also I think what SRS said on his stream today was also accurate "AEW fell in love with the Cole/MJF angle and it lost steam after Cole got hurt"

I agree that a lot of the “WWE lite” complaints felt overblown when it came to the company as a whole, but that storyline once Cole got hurt was tough to present in another way, and it probably impacted how a lot of people who might’ve just been checking in sometimes felt about the broader show.
