But only ones who wouldn't fit at all.
Good example would be Bill Watts circa 1982 running AEW today or TNA Orlando Jordan except he's doing it in 1980 Georgia Championship Wrestling.
What other combinations would just not work at all?
Bonus nominee would be Big Daddy in ECW.

Andre the Giant, NXT champion. Only if it was later days Andre. Earlier more mobile Andre I could see working. A lot of the smaller guys who are near the top these days going back to "Golden Age" WWF would not fare that well.

I would pay good money to see Goldust on the old Dumont Network shows.
Even Gorgeous George would have been baffled.

Bill Watts circa 1982 running AEW today Especially if every episode of Dynamite starts with Watts on commentary lecturing Excalibur on the dangers of communism.

There's a lot of guys who if you brought them to today's era they wouldn't fit because they'd be like where's all the rats and coke?

I'll pick the low hanging fruit. Hulk Hogan in ECW. Backstage politics and such wise...probably. On screen character though...that's a tougher thing to ponder. I mean, both Sid and Dusty Rhodes got over pretty well in ECW in their short times there. Sure Hogan's characters are a different entity, but at the very least I could see Hollywood being a good ECW heel.

George Hackenschmidt. The digital ring apron terrifies him, opponents win all their matches by countout.
