Show held pretty consistent outside of the usual dropoff from the beginning of it, and increased from last week with a skeleton crew. Definitely gotta take that
Glad to see the Garcia/Cage promo increase viewers, it was very good

Between FTR and Mike Bennet cant blame that drop The drop happens literally every show, we don't need to blame wrestlers for consistent drops Q1 and Q2 from the Nielson audience.

Chiming in on a random week to ask...
1) Way back in the day I fell like the scuttlebutt was that TNT expected around 600k viewers weekly, so by any measure isn't AEW crushing it?
2) In an era where a large portion of the audience will consume the show via streams, legal or otherwise, do these ratings matter?

AEW is definitely beating their original expectations which is why they got a better deal shortly after launching Dynamite. Now their expectations are higher as they're making more money off their TV deal but they've continued to perform well as the cable landscape changes. Even with some modest year over year ratings declines, they consistently rank high on the cable charts which is what they're paid to do. 2. Measuring viewership is definitely harder these days. These ratings still matter a good bit so you can't discount them. But there are other factors to consider. There's streaming numbers. There's DVR viewership. There's also who's watching and their demographics. So yes ratings matter but TV companies definitely have more complex data at their disposal when evaluating deals.

It’s telling that Smackdown got such great ratings on Fox, yet Fox chose not to renew they deal this time around.

Today I learned that Sydni Winell's wrestling name is "Stormi Renee." So just mix Renee Paquette with Toni Storm and make her kind of tall.
