I remember when he debuted in NJPW and there was much discussion about whether he was Tanga Loa or Tanga Roa and in hindsight that is just bad.

You've got to love wrestling psychology. You can commit despicable acts then somehow end up as a babyface soon after and fans will just roll with it. Austin shook Vince's hand, used a chair on Lita and turned into a complete coward then was back to being face in no time. Swerve was a complete terror only a few months ago now he's condemning heelish actions way less bad than he committed himself. Seth was treated like a hero at Mania despite technically Roman having every right to hate him after Seth's actions in 2014. People like Undertaker and Triple H literally attempted murder multiple times over the years then fans would happily move on and cheer when they went back face, etc.

Heyman has been one of the biggest heels in wrestling for literal decades. On paper you really shouldn't feel bad for him. Yet all it takes is some sad puppy dog eyes at Jey and being bullied by Solo/Tama and suddenly fans are willing to forgive and are likely going to give the Bloodline nuclear heat if they actually lay hands or erupt with cheers if Roman saves him.

Tonight must have been the most over Solo has ever been. He was almost getting Dom-level heat.

At first I thought Roman might take a super long hiatus and maybe not show up again until next Rumble/Mania season but they've been laying it on really thick in the past couple weeks with the intimidation of Heyman and now Solo tonight saying he sits at the head of the table now and doing the spear and the triple powerbomb. At this point I'd be shocked if Roman isn't back by Summerslam at the latest. Surely they're not gonna have the crowds chanting we want Roman every week for another 6+ months.

Roman returns for the rematch with Cody at Summerslam that Rhodes wins cleanly. Post-match, Roman shows respect to Cody, which further irritates the Bloodline.

I like this storyline and think there's gonna be a huge pop of Roman returning to save Heyman, but man the storyline beat of "Kevin Owens gets his ass kicked by them" has already gotten old. Like get more people involved at least if Randy's taking a break.

That is the best theme that WWE have come up for ages. It's like someone actually sat down, watched Tama, asked creative and Tama what his character is and who he is supposed to be, and came up with something that fits very well.
