WWE has applied for the following trademark  If Hikuleo goes by "Talla Tonga" I may die laughing Talk about audience confusion, introducing three family members with the names Tama Tonga, Talla Tonga and Tonga Loa in a few month span is just asking for none of them to get over individually. Tama will be fine, dude has charisma, is good in ring, has picked up the WWE style quickly and has a good look. He can hold down an upper midcard spot no problem for a good while. The other two are going to struggle. |

Tanga and Hikuleo (going with their NJPW names to avoid confusion) could tag but Tanga and Hikuleo are not great singles wrestlers. Honestly, Hiku just isn't that good, period.

He’s better at singles matches than Loa. And Jimmy Uso for that matter. I’ve at least witnessed him have a good singles match in his life. |

I guess it's just a growing bunch of goons to run interference and eat pins for Rock when he comes back, maybe Roman will have to smack them down if he turns face when he comes back. While we are waiting for these two returns (which could be months or years away) it really is as dull as dishwater to watch. "My character is I'm tough and I breathe funny and my family is from the Pacific Islands" does little more for me than the "My character is I'm young and I wrestle well and do a dive every match" that one finds on the indies and AEW undercard. If the purpose is to elevate Solo then I recommend the writer's room put their thinking caps on as it's going to take a lot more than this.

I don't hate it, as it's catchy to say, but I don't like that Talla doesn't mean anything in Tongan. I like when a name change actually has a real meaning. Especially in this gimmick.

Worth pointing out that in one of the most important polls in the history of this site, as of present Tama Tonga is one of only two options not to get a single vote (the other is Jey Uso. Which strongly suggests that Biscuits the Bloodline Cat will go on to have a pretty good singles career and stay over when The Bloodline saga reaches it's coda. |
