Episode IV A New Hope wasnt in the original theatrical cut and that was a good addition IMO.

That said I don't mind a lot of the little additions to A New Hope ... except the last edition George had where he added Obi Wan making a weird ass noise to scare the Sand People away.

I'm sure if George was still involved he'd retcon the original trilogy and add Leia's little Droid from Obi Wan into every scene

Batman Arkham Knight in the Arkham Trilogy on Switch.

Could've just ported the first 2 games and it would've been fine. Instead they added a borderline unplayable version of the third game and it brings the collection down.

Wasn't even supposed to happen btw. Show got cancelled due to the Garnet wedding, the Movie was gonna be the ending, the CN decided "Ok you can have an epilogue too" because they never should have actually cancelled the show. Leading to a rushed ending, a good movie, and then an epilogue with a lot of new crew because they fired the old one and they moved on to new jobs.

Thought Future was fine myself but this is why it all happened the way it did.

Overwatch to me is like a soup. It started really good then they kept adding more spices then more broth, then add more things to it and keep altering the recipe to the point that the soup is some Frankenstein that is a total mess you didn't want to eat.

But it wasn't so much additions it's every time it's come back to the McDonalds menu for a run, much like a wrestler who won't stay retired maybe when they should, it's gotten more and more embarrassingly pathetic as they've deviated from the original recipe and made it like... a cheap School Lunch Patty.

For me, Overwatch screwed up in its priorities. Adding new characters was fine, costumes, etc, but they just... never did a goddamn thing with the story. Like, the Bloodline in WWE moves the plot forward more consistently than OW did for basically its whole run, which is part of why OW 2 has been received so coldly, I think.

The whole point of "hero shooters", you'd think, would be to lean on characterization, but most of the cast also just has very little meat to them. A good third or the cast would be difficult to fill out the back of a trading card bio, much less carry any sort of narrative.
