If a Fork Lift is used in a wrestling stunt, does the wrestler have to be forklift certified? Of the three people I recall using forklifts are Brock Lesnar, Austin, and Mick Foley.
I can see Brock and Austin being properly trained on how to use a Fork Lift, because of thier outside interests, but I can't picture Foley for some reason.
Fork Lifts are dangerous!!

Austin was a fork lift driver back in the day. If anyone was it's him.

I'm just wondering if the guys who used one for the "stretcher" job on Yokozuna in 1996 were certified.

Now you've said that, I want to see a wrestler go to use one, and end up being disqualified for not having a licence, or dragged out of it by a health and safety inspector or something.

HHH drove one that one time in the background! The only time I remember Mick doing anything with it was Half Time heat, and the lowering of the pallet was almost certainly pre-recorded because it cut to a camera on the pallet. You never actually see Mick hit any buttons I believe.

There is only one man clearly properly certified to drive a forklift and we know this as he has his vesi and workhat on.

There was also Kanyon with Judy Bagwell on a forklift.

Terry Funk at Wrestlemania XIV. I could tell he wasn't certified because he struggled quite a bit with the controls.

Like, if someone messed up one of those spots, that would be an insurance/legal nightmare.

As someone who drives one every day at work, let me admit that on more than one occasion, I have imagined wrestling spots involving my forklift.
Probably wouldn't be too safe irl.

If anyone was actually licensed, it would have been this guy.

I would imagine that they’d just have their forklift guy from the rigging team just show the wrestler the basic controls and have them practice for a bit. It’s really not that complicated and most anyone could be competent enough for a quick spot in 30-60 minutes.
