I'm rather annoyed at these current developments. Barkley had to walk, but of course, he had to walk into Philly. I knew McKinney was a goner the moment he started mouthing off on Social Media incessantly. Only thing to look forward to is the compensatory picks that they will receive after next offseason. Both of them could've been traded during the season.
Hopefully the Eagles will fall flat on their faces next season. Seeing tormentors like Fletcher Cox, Jason Kelce walk off into the sunset might change the Giants fortunes against that god-forsaken franchise. Who knows, maybe even a winning streak. Barkley signing looks nice, but they're still a team who looks divided with a lot more questions than answers heading into next season.
With the Commanders going stir-crazy in free agency (As they are apt to do.) and the Giants not being in position to go after QBs in the draft or in free agency, I think the plug is finally going to be pulled and the rebuild is going to start. Of course, if they suck too much, Daboll is going to be out the door, but that might not be the worst thing in the world either. Giants have to draft well this year or I can see them being in last place for years to come.
Singletary and Runyan are the definition of mid.

Saquon was insanely mediocre last season, and even at 26 it’s entirely possible by todays standards that he’s past his prime

Runyan is a solid guard. He's not going to Pro Bowls, but he's a massive improvement over the revolving door they had at guard last year.

I'm gonna be pretty damn salty if all the Jets do today is lose Bryce Huff and then sign 0 offensive linemen.

Jags overpaid the hell out of Duvernay. 😭
In other Ravens news:
Gonna be so sick when they sign him and only give him 10 carries in the AFC Championship game.

The Panthers turned down two 1st last year for Burns and now settled for a 2nd and 5th from the Giants. He then got signed to a 5 yr, $150M deal.

Vikings and Aaron Jones are in discussions to keep him in the NFC North and pull a "Favre but running back"

I m not heartbroken over losing Saquon at all. The Giants will be a lot better without him. This is a wild take. When Saquon wasn't on the field, that offense suffered even more than it already was due to lack of receiving, Daniel Jones being the QB, and the backup being Matt Brieda. As an Eagles fan, I thank you, glad he's home lol

He was the offenses only priority and the pass game suffered because of it. You can blame the bad o-line all you want but the best rb’s should be able to run the ball more than 2 yards a carry. His stats are deceiving. Anyone can acclimate 1000 yards if you are handed the ball 1000 times. The defense figured the Giants priority was Saquon and proceeded to pounce on the offense. With Saquon gone, the Giants can perhaps now try a more balanced approach that will be better.

Saquon might be a good addition or he might be a nothing there’s no real middle ground. His numbers are pretty pedestrian for a top RB and he’s constantly battling injuries.
I suspect that losing Kelce to retirement is going to be the biggest factor for the Eagles offense though.

With Saquon gone, the Giants can perhaps now try a more balanced approach that will be better. Dude you had Daniel Jones and then backup friends as a QB behind the worst offensive line in football. Saquon did what he could and he still essentially was your offense I don't think a "balanced" approach is gonna work, you need better everything. You used Saquon because he was objectively your best offensive weapon on a team with no weapons. Now your team needs... everything. Hope Singletary can provide something but behind that line? Relying on Daniel Jones? With that WR Group as it stands? Good luck to them. Drafts probably gonna be very important for their future and well, Daniel Jones' too lol. Will Barkley succeed on the Eagles? Obviously I hope, I've pulled for him since Penn State days, but if he fails, he'll definitely have no excuses.
