Not as upset as most with Green Bay's pick, just feels odd that we filled a need with a "WHO?" guy.

The Falcon's pick was totally them being scared they're losing next years first round pick to tampering with Cousins
Because there really isn't any other reason I can think of to signing Cousins to a three figure megadeal, two of which are guaranteed, that you don't make a panic move like that
A panic move so panicked you piss off your owner in the process lol, like... this is a mess, if Kirk gets hurt or doesn't hold up, it'll work out, but you've definitely incited a QB controversy immediately where there was none before...

Hard to get very excited about the Commandos pick solely based on their history. Last franchise QB they had they ran him into the ground while injured, then they had his replacement and a good QB and let him leave/ran him out of town. I doubt much will change with this pick either. They just suck balls.
I bet that all three QBs at the top Bomb for various reasons. The Bears can’t develop a QB in their history and honestly should be a tough running cold weather team with a vicious defense and gritty QB. The only thing getting commanded in DC is the Commanders sorry asses, and who knows with the Patriots and Maye. lol

Got the guy that some folks predicted they were gonna get. I am whelmed. As a Patriots fan, this encapsulates my mood this morning. I'm obviously happy they did the right thing and just drafted Drake Maye, but I'm also just very content with the decision. Over the past decade or so, I've grown accustomed to the Patriots either trading down in the first round (2020, 2022, 2023), reaching for a player they could have drafted later (2014: Dominique Easley, 2018: Sony Michel, 2019: N'Keal Harry, 2022: Cole Strange), or simply not having a first-round pick at all (2016, 2017). It's been a rarity for the Patriots recently to simply step to the podium, hand in the card when it's their turn to pick, and select the best available player who also happens to fill a need. I'm thrilled by the relative normalcy of it all. As for this evening, round two kicks off with the Bills at 33 and then the Patriots at 34. They can control the draft board as they see fit this evening - they could trade down for a collection of seconds and thirds, deal the pick for an established player looking for a new home (Tee Higgins and Brandon Aiyuk, for example), or sit at 34 and pick one of the myriad available players who had first-round potential and who fills a need that exists on the current roster (Ladd McConkey, Cooper DeJean, Kool-Aid McKinstry, Adonai Mitchell, Keon Coleman, Kingsley Suamataia, or T.J. Tampa would all be fine by me).

Vikings didn't sell the farm and got a QB that I don't hate.... can't complain until I get hindsight in 4 years. plus getting Dallas Turner helps

Reports coming out 49ers intend to trade Samuel than Aiyuk Good. Dude had his career year magic then proceeded to barely be half the player he was the next two years. Aiyuk is much better, especially with a QB that doesn’t need to be guarded with a bunch of trick play nonsense.

I think they view Penix as their Jordan Love compared to Cousins' Aaron Rogers. It makes sense with Cousins being 35. I got a feeling they were planning to draft someone else and then aquire a pick the 20s to get Penix but then felt that he wouldn't last that long.

Anyone remember when EVERY round of the draft was 15 minutes between picks and it was a marathon to get through? lol
