Honestly, I stopped caring about WWE around roughly 2016-2018 because of how bad it got mainly due to the awfulness that was The Authority and even after that story ended, I honestly only hate-watched (which wasn't a good idea) until I decided to move to greener pastures. And I don't feel like coming back to watch WWE anytime soon. Like what someone above said, I'm only nostalgic for the wrestlers, not the company. I liked the Authority! The Yes Movement is one of my favorite moments of wrestling history. Those were good times!! *Slaps Nikki Bella* "I'm gonna make you my bitch." m.youtube.com/watch?v=-nIEV-Nubuo&pp=ygUaSW0gZ29ubmEgbWFrZSB5b3UgbXkgYml0Y2g%3DThe yes movement happened in spite of Vince, not because of him. You're really going in on the revisionist history thing.

That was a Vince thing though. Roman was his Golden Boy. He knew and saw it years before a lot of people. Vince had to kick and scream before turning Roman heel, and the inclusion of Sami and all that was in late β22 after Vince left and it was HHH who saw Roman as the guy. Vince was originally going to give the push to Big E. (Pre-New Day Stoic E.)

When the McMahons sold the WWE, your favorite childhood TV show changed forever. The product you loved like it or not was envisioned, created, and engineered by Vincent Kennedy McMahon. This is like when Star Wars was sold to Disney. The heart of what made WWE is gone. No Shane, no Stephanie. Triple H, sure. I love Triple H more than anybody but it seems like the Rock is heavily in control. The shell of wrestlers are there from the good old days, but as years go on it will be a completely new series. I've been a fan for over 20 years but I can't help but notice a giant Prime logo in the middle of the ring. Celebrities everywhere. The booking isn't what I grew up on. I was loyal to the product but at this point, I may was well watch AEW. This WWE isn't real WWE anymore and my childhood belongs to the old WWE. Does anybody else feel this way? Somebody else bought our childhood dog and changed his name. Food for thought. GOOD. F*** The McMahons. F*** the WWE. Hell, F*** Endeavor, they still employ Dana White. Get someone who is going to make the business socially progressive in charge. I know they wouldn't want to spend their money on that, but it's still needed.

The WWE I grew up with had Triple H humping a mannequin in a casket. Did you ever hear the story behind that one? π. They told it on Something to Wrestle with Bruce Pritchard. Bruce and HHH were against Vince's vision and offered their own less grotesque version. They all agreed they would film both versions (filmed in an actual funeral home, no less) and choose which was better. So they film Vince's first and when it's done, Vince calls it a wrap because he thinks it's perfect. He tells the cameraman to stop filing and nobody can stop it because Vince is singing everyone's check. Bruce and HHH look at each other mortified that they had been swindled by the genetic jackhammer and the proceeding filth that would end up on cable television.

I didnt grow up with WWE. Hell I was almost 10 when it became WWF.
Just like I didnt grow up with WCW ,it was JCP back then. And I barely watched it.
Keep hearing how WWE has improved. I turn on RAW or a PPV and usually within 30 minutes I'm bored and shut it off.
Realized a long time ago the form of wrestling WWE provides isn't for me. Cool plenty of good alternatives out there.
No need to watch something I haven't enjoyed in a long time.

No need to watch something I haven't enjoyed in a long time. I'm a big Adam Copeland mark. That story they're building with Christian Cage is the best fued going in wrestling. But the wrestlers in AEW are too small. I want to see heavyweights going at it. That's why everyone loves LA Knight. He's everything WWE told us made a superstar for the last 20 years. LA Knight with MITB is going to be money. You thought he was cool, funny, and suave before? Give him a prop that doubles as a narrative device.
