I'm a lapsed fan (i still keep track on Cagematch) and saw a clip of the transition between Sami Zayn and R-Truth/The Miz backstage and the comments on twitter saying production has been much better since Dunn has been gone.
So I'm asking the folks I trust, is that so? Has production been noticeably better since Dunn has been gone?

The TV shows feel like they're produced by someone who actually has a background in televising sports, as opposed to whatever the hell Dunn was trying to do the last few years.
So yes; much, much better.

I don't notice any difference, but then again I never really noticed Dunn's faults. I thought we just hated him because of him being a Vince yes man and a shitty person.

I haven’t really noticed, which makes me think it’s better. When watching live sports, if the production is good, you tend to get lost in whatever event they’re broadcasting. If it’s bad, you can’t miss it. The latter happened a lot with WWE in recent years, but I can’t think of it happening to me much lately.

Much better, I like the wrinkles they’ve added with different camera angles, different camera shots that we’d never really see. The graphics for transitions into commercials, the talent arriving at the building with time stamps from earlier in the day, backstage segments and interviews in different spots of the arena, interviewers throwing it back to the commentators, less nauseating camera cuts and shaking of the camera, etc.

Dawg, YES.
Like, it's so funny. People said for years "the product would be so much better if Vince and Dunn were gone." And you see it so much from everybody and it seems like such the obvious thing that part of you kinda wonders "surely, it can't be that easy...right?"
IT REALLY WAS THAT EASY.
Just from jump street, the storytelling and production on the show is much more engaging than it's been in literally decades.

Well they definitely got someone who knows how to shoot live sports with the long tracking shot.
So that is a huge step up from whatever f***ing the show used to be.

This all lays it out pretty well. I don't watch WWE regularly anymore, but every time I tune in I catch myself thinking "wow I've never seen them do this before that's cool" for at least a couple of things on the show. It's been a big step up.

I read about that transition from Zayn to Miz/Truth. I would like to see it.

The one shots, staying with the action, dutch shots from within the ring, and a bunch of experimental transitions and camera angles, like from the turnbuckle.
