What do you think for a movie idea in the late 80's. Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder two old friends who have since got married and started families on their own. And they decide to have their two families go on a family vacation and wacky hijacks.
I originally thought of this of having Wilder's The Woman In Red character and Pryor's Moving character meet and thought it would be interesting if those characters meet, but those movies were done by different studios, and the idea still works with original characters.
What do you think? I think it sounds better than See No Evil Hear No Evil.

Isnt that the same premise as The Great Outdoors (only the main characters of that one were brothers-in-law)?

How about a movie where Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor are businessmen, who decide to take an outdoor trip canoeing down a river, only to be approached by a couple yokels...like out of Deliverance? Except in this version, Burt Reynolds and Ronnie Cox don't come to the rescue...instead Wilder and Pryor are taken to a cabin, where they spend the rest of the movie trying to escape, in a series of painfully unfunny and offensive scenes that allow for the movie to sweep at the Golden Raspberry Awards.
