I might watch either Diggstown or Toy Soldiers in his memory.

Hard to believe he was that old. I always enjoyed his work.

RIP, my first memory of him was in Toy Soldiers and loved renting that movie from the video store back in the day.

Damn... I love his work, he always added an aura of seriousness to his roles.
Even in "Firewalker".
Rest in peace, sir.

I might dig up my 1989 Punisher DVD soon. He was good in that movie, no matter how cheesy it is.

His Wikipedia page under illnesses makes his last 30 years or so sound incredibly difficult. And a real success story to have overcome some major illnesses along the way.

He was one of those guys who always seemed to pop up in movies that made me think, "What's a great actor like him doing in this piece of crap?" But he always gave a good performance no matter what.

Last thing I saw him was in that pretty good Watchmen sequel to the graphic novel series on HBO

His performance as the drill instructor in An Officer And A Gentleman is one of the few that can compare to the untouchable R Lee Ermy.
