Not for me, but I also don't think it's a ludicrous statement like if they had said it about several recent Mania's.
I can easily see why someone would say it's the greatest WrestleMania.

It was definitely a Good Mania, Even one of the best Manias.. But the outright best?.. Don't know if I'd go that far.
It's going to take something really really special to ever top 17.

Night 1 was still pretty meh, so I wouldn't agree. For individual nights, night 2 was incredible and could be in the conversation. Though too much recency bias either way. Can probably get a more objective view with some distance.

They say this every year. I kind of tune it out to be honest. I think there’s definitely an argument to be made but I think 38 and 39 were more enjoyable.

There's a pretty strong argument I feel. I'm not gonna hand it the crown yet, still way too soon, but I'm fairly confident this will be a Mania that is talked about and held in high regard for years. Night 2 of Mania, in my opinion, is one of the best shows WWE has ever produced.

This really should be theme song for every Mania.

I can see the argument for it. - Biggest attendance - Biggest profit/revenue - Arguably the best storyline ending a WM, spanning 2 days and focusing on a 1316 day title reign which is unheard of for a WM - Biggest star power whether it's current wrestlers, legends and celebrities - Amazing matches (mostly looking at night 2) - Most mainstream press from a pure variety standpoint - Great feel good ending with no issues which is a rarity for WMs these days lastly - No Vince McMahon

Arguably last year alone was better overall on both nights, just with a terrible ending that felt like it undercut everything before it.
But the Night 2 vibes were great this year, and sometimes vibes are what matters.

Not even close to in the running for me. Night 2 was a very good show, very good. But, and I suspect this is an unpopular opinion, but- I thought Night 1 was up there for amongst the worst Manias I've seen. Only counting since I started in 2003 but yeah, there was very, very little I enjoyed Night 1 and a lot I really didn't like or 'get' to the point that my recurring feeling of "Is wrestling still for me anymore or have I/it moved on?" hit hard. Night 2 swung the pendulum back for me, I can see an argument for it being top 10, maybe top 5 depending on your tastes, but nowhere near GOAT for me. Plus, no matter how much they try, they'll never rehab HHH or Steph's image with me. "I'm not Vince" isn't enough to make me like them.

I think it's up there..... I think time needs to go by before I say for sure. Night 2 was definitely better than Night 1, but Night 2 was so damn entertaining that it brings the entirety of the show up.

Top 10 for sure. Top 5 maybe. I don’t think it’s better top to bottom than 17

For me I'm going to always pick Wrestlemania 3 but WM40 Night 2 was one of the best shows I've seen and been to live.

We can better answer that question probably a decade from now. But Night Two alone was easily top ten. It’ll go higher in people’s minds the longer WWE can keep up this business.

I don't know if I'd say greatest ever but I'd no doubt put it top 5.

I don't know about the greatest ever, but it's in the top 3-5 and maybe down the road with hindsight, could climb.

Not even close but I don't object to a company hyping up their most recent stuff. At least most people seemed to enjoy this one. They've claimed far more ridiculous stuff to be the best ever

I have no stance on the matter I guess it is my turn to give my .02 cents
WrestleMania Night 1 began awesome with Rhea Ripley coming out to a live performance from Motionless In White.
WrestleMania Night 2 began with LA Knight and AJ Styles. What? is LA Knight the updated Macho Man with this whole SlimJim schtick?
Is LA Knight the updated Macho Man with the SlimJim shtick? OH YEAH! DIG IT! YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! You all knew I had to say that.

Just going off recency bias right now, but definitely in the conversation. Like, I've made it clear I can't get through most of WWE's weekly product but the whole of night 2 was one of my favorite ppvs I've ever watched. The only main events that have affected me like 40's were Bryan's at 30 and Hangman Page's at Full Gear. Easily top 3 Wrestlemania's as of right now.
