And the shocking moment of the day goes to.
Hope this means she has finally gotten over her grudge against Rossy about IYO leaving triple tails to join STARDOM.
Would not surprise me if her sister mediated this with the possibility Mio shows up in WWE to do a true blue triple tails reunion.

Seeing unsourced scuttlebutt on Reddit that Marigold is hemorrhaging money and attendance is declining 🤔 Dunno on the money side of things, but the company had 3 shows over 1000 (as reported by themselves) people. The debut show, the Giulia/Mai Saurai show (these two on Korakuen Hall) and the Sumo Hall show (which did around 3000... which is not great for the building), which is slitghly better than TJPW... but Marigold isn't backed by a rich company and is essentially a start-up by comparison, so they have to carve their own niche and fight for their own riches. However, things still don't look that bright there. Let's make an example out of Tokyo, namely Osaka. Marigold has gone to Osaka a lot since they've began running shows. Here's their attendances in all their Osaka shows chronologically: 494 Fans - 176BOX 357 Fans - 176BOX 363 Fans - EDION Arena 2 305 Fans - EDION Arena 2 285 Fans - 176BOX 176BOX appears to be a 500 seater at max, but the EDION Arena 2 is already around 1000+ (I'd say 1200. Unless you're Dragon Gate, where the building starts letting in 1700 people, such is the power of Dragon Gate!). The two EDION Arena shows were part of the Dream Star GP. It seems clear that the novelty factor is clearly worn off from their Osaka fanbase, with a marked decrease in attendance for their Osaka shows. Add to that their not great recent Korakuen numbers (sub 800 again in their most recent show) and the fact that it's highly possible that these are just reported and not true numbers (old trick all Japanese promoters know: add between 10%-50% to the actual numbers when they aren't great!), so I can see why such talks come up.

First off that talk always has come from STARDOM fans continually trolling especially the money part because it ends the same way everytime about WWE backing them financially and I have listened to people who would know far and away more about anything in the Joshi scene than I would and if there has been nothing from that end then there is nothing to that. And secondly did anyone really believe a company less than a year in was going to be able to keep up the numbers they were doing early on. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yDCWCjoDBAo5EwzQFvyVwjs1Zar8kiTMeu1Ha4yelIk/edit?gid=0#gid=0What interests me is next year according to their upcoming schedule when they stop running Korakuen hall so much and only run that building once a month just to see where else they start running or run more often in place of it. Also interested to see what building they run in come Mania weekend in Vegas which should be a huge for them as that will be on the verge of their 1yr anniversary as a company.

Rossy’s philosophy with Stardom was being pretty unwilling to mingle with wrestlers appear in other promotions and mingle with freelance because, as he said, “if people can go see our wrestlers at another show, why should they come to ours?”
I’m not saying it’s wrong or right, but he’s sort of facing his philosophy here. Sareee is on a generational run but you can pay less to see her do the same great matches in Sead or other places and could likely part after dropping the title. The idea is to make Utami as big a star as possible but they needed her to not win immediately. Kinda tough situation.

The idea is to make Utami as big a star as possible but they needed her to not win immediately. Kinda tough situation. He has amazing talent on deck but what he needs and it is universal across the board about MariGold is they need more stars....no one is on the level of Utami as far as the full time MariGold roster goes. Mirai is like 1B to Utami's 1A Then you got Mai Sakurai tremendous improvement but isn't in league with the above 2 yet but he is definetly pushing her in that direction and credit to her she is rising to that occasion where he can bank on her to be someone he can go to if say Utami or Mirai have an injury or something. Kouki is in the same tier as Mai so much improvement in such a short ammount of time and in a year will be someone whose in ring abilty will be matching her overall star power. Like there is so much potential in the roster amongst all the women he has but can't stagnate on potential which is why I really like he sort of changed it up and isn't simply having the rookies wrestle only the rookies and lookin for them to improve by wrestling eachother and it is making for better faster improvement for the lower tiered women especially.
