In a world of shit YouTube things or Mickey Mouse Club House…Bluey is a welcomed addition when I hang out with my niece.
Like Blue’s Clues before, a generational blue dog will appear and be compared to Soprano’s or whatever made up thing OP said.

Have to keep perspective: most shows aimed at a super young audience are awful, or at bare minimum obnoxious to sit through. Having a show feel like it's not talking down to the kids while broaching topics the adults who get roped into watching with the kids find themselves relating to is a pretty good accomplishment.
Also, the creators are fans of the streamers at Vinesauce, and have made dog-toon versions of Vinny and Joel.

I'm tired of people pretending the show is some masterpiece, and not just an above-average preschool cartoon.

People are comparing it to Sopranos and Breaking Bad? That also got my attention and it puzzles me. I'm talking in terms of critical acclaim. Bluey has a 9.4 IMDB rating, and several episodes have 9.something ratings.

We really backlashing against Bluey, now? I think we're supposed to call it a "Blueback"?

It's a show about a cute blue dog. What more reason do you need?

I watched it on my own for a year because at 7-8 minutes long, it is perfect to start the day on a good note because while it is a sweet and colorful show, it is not overtly saccharine and happy but maintains a good balance. And hey, I always appreciate a show where the creator said that he grew up with golden era Simpsons and incorporates references from that era in Bluey. As well as appreciating a show that explains stuff like divorce, infertility etc. in a way that children can understand these topics. I was probably way more happier than a grown adult should be when in The Sign {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Brandy was pregnant!

But nobody is comparing it to the Sopranos, Bluey's target audience is totally different and it will be reviewed with the target audience in mind.

Not even the big things like the worry about doing something wrong as a parent (Baby Race. Oh my god, Baby Race), just the little day to day things of having kids. Just one small example - there is an episode where Chili is just trying to get things ready and Bluey is loudly playing a recorder and Bingo tells a knock knock joke that goes like: Bingo: (she knocks on Chilli's apron) Knock, knock! Chilli: Oh, who's there, hon? Bingo: Potato! Chilli: Bluey. Too loud! (to Bingo) Potato who? Bingo: Potato drives a car to the potato shop, and... buys a potato. (laughs) That is SPOT ON the type of nonsensical joke a four or five year old would tell as they are developing their sense of humor.

My house is a Bluey house. Our daughter is nearly two and regularly asks to watch Bluey and Hey Duggee because she is a woman of taste.
Camping is heart warming and wonderful. Baby Race gave my wife some closure on her post natal depression. I recently read that The Show suggests that Bluey is a rainbow baby and unrelated, I got all misty thinking of something manly.
Why is Bluey the best? Is it just a Dad thing because Bandit is the Bryan Danielson of parenting?

Is it just a Dad thing because Bandit is the Bryan Danielson of parenting? The show creator confirmed that Chili's reaction when the balloon pops in The Show is because of a prior miscarriage. Not my picture, but the source is "Hard to Bear" by Isabelle Oderberg. I've also read that reproductive issues are actually a common problem with red heelers like Chili and Brandy. So they've done their dog homework too.

I bought this episode separately on Amazon. I'm thrilled everyone now gets to enjoy it, it is fantastic. NOW RESTORE THE POOPING PONY! (That gag is cut from the Disney+ version.)
