Being at Hollywood Studios in Disney World today, I'm amazed how much Stitch merchandise there is. Every store I been in has something with him.
Shirts, Plushies, Backpacks, Hats and others, didn't realize he was such a a big mover.

Stitch is somehow both wildly popular and really overlooked. There is a store here called Primark that stocks a lot of licensed clothes and goods and there must be at least three times as much Stitch stuff as there is any other character. Add all of the other characters together and it probably doesn't add up.
Lilo and Stitch is probably my favorite Disney movie so I say all hail Stitch!

I love Lilo and Stitch, feel it is underrated as a movie.

My wife and I went a few years back with my cousins family, which included an under 2 year old boy.
The first day there we had dinner at Ohana and the very first costumed character the toddler met was Stitch, who tapped him on the shoulder while he was confined to a wheel chair

Oh, I thought this was gonna be about the sequel anime that in one episode showed a grown-up Lilo.
Carry on.

Stitch is a role model, so it's well deserved.

Not enough to save the Stitch attraction at Magic Kingdom…but then again they just did a lazy reimagining of the Alien attraction with a cool as hell Stitch animatronic and called it a day. But yeah…my boy Stitch moves merch.

Make sense.
He’s character that can marketed to any age group or gender.
The movie was a perfect combo action, sci fi, comedy and a heartfelt drama. Sell all the merch.

I think zoomers like Stitch because of the non binary goblin mode vibes

I can’t really stand anything Disney and even I like Stitch. He’s just a funny little guy.

I think part of it is probably down to timing. Lilo and Stitch came out in 2002 so for kids that were born in '92-'98 the movie could've been one of their formative childhood movies. All those kids would be in their mid-20's to 30's now and if there's one thing Disney Adults love it's spending money on merch.

The same person who designed Stitch designed Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon
They basically know how to make the most marketable designs ever off that fact lol

As a guy who was at Magic Kingdom a couple of weeks ago decked out in a stitch shirt and hat (with the Stitch ears on them), I concur that Stitch is awesome…

An observation I have from dating - I seem to attract a lot of girls with ADHD (undiagnosed) and they all have being absolutely loco for Stitch in common. Correlation does not mean causation, just something I have noted.
I always liked Lilo better.

I can’t really stand anything Disney and even I like Stitch. He’s just a funny little guy. Pretty much the same. Never been a Disney fan. Then my Gf,who is a huge Disney nut,got me to watch Lilo and Stitch and it is great. One of the few Disney animated films I own. Much much better than pretty much anything Disney has put out in the past 30 years. But stuff like Zootopia and Frozen get the praise Lilo & Stitch deserve.

They’ve also been sitting on that location for a looooooooong time. Rumored a Wreck-It Ralph attraction was taking its place but that was an eternity ago.
