Everyone remember Saturday and after school, but I have a soft spot for Sundays.
Back in the day before Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon playing Disney all the day, it felt really nice to know there was something worth watching on Sunday morning. Usually syndication, as the real networks had sports or religious programming.
The one that’s sticks out to mind was
King Arthur and his knights of justice.
Other I kind of remember but don’t remember if it was pre saved by the bell nbc
Fantastic max
And then I when I got cable and discovered the USA network cartoon express :-).

Kids WB had Sunday Cartoons. They'd have Animaniacs, Pinky and The Brain, Tiny Toons and others on Saturday and Sunday would be Batman, Superman, Pokemon and MIB

I remember the Sunday morning syndicated cartoon blocks on the non-network channels when I was a kid. They were usually no where near as interesting as the Saturday morning cartoons. Although one year, I think it was 1993, the Sunday cartoons had a surprisingly strong line-up with shows like Mighty Max, ExoSquad, SWAT Kats and even The New Adventures of Speed Racer. I think Knights of Justice also aired around that time.

There was a UPN kids block that was on Sundays, though. I recall there being a "Jumanji" cartoon, as well as one on The Incredible Hulk.

Love the Final Fight sig, Agent.
Oh boy, did we!
I think Sundays here (NY/NJ area) were when we normally got The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera. TMNT '87 MAY have started as Sundays only too on WPIX, but I could be wrong. Maybe Voltron for a time too. USA Cartoon Express before All-American Wrestling. Shows like DJ Kat (US version) and Steampipe Alley included Woody Woodpecker, Popeye, and others, so I guess it counts??
Later on was the Marvel Action Hour/Universe (included '90s Iron Man and Fantastic Four). USA Action Extreme Team. In the later 90s, UPN was re-airing X-Men TAS and 1981 Spider-Man/Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends.
Not Sunday MORNING, but TBS and SWAT Kats/2 Stupid Dogs/Captain Planet.

From when I was born until late late 1990 all we got was 7 channels. Sundays 5am till 8am was cartoons on two of them. The other channels had church or sports on from 7am until 6pm on Sundays. Oddly I only ever saw Davey and Golitith when I would go visit my Grannie. The TBN,I think it was Trinity Broadcasting Network,we got out of Alabama didnt air D&G.

I got Mobile,Biloxi,Pensacoula and way way later on Hattiesburg. So 1 NBC,1CBS,2 ABC,1PBS,2 FOX 1 indie and 1 TBN before we got cable. And even then I kept an antenna hooked up to my TV cause the cable had the Biloxi ABC which didnt show some shows that the Mobile ABC did.

A day that will always me remembered fondly by me.

Not a cartoon, but when I was really young I remember Photon used to air in my market on Sunday mornings at a crazy early hour. The only things I remember being on at the same time were like church shows and political talk shows.

I also lived in the NYC area. During the early 90s, ABC had an hour of cartoons at 10a. (I’m being serious.) I can’t remember what the shows were though. Then again, this might have been on only on WABC tv.

I don't remember cartoons, but I do remember watching the dying days of the USWA's TV show on Sunday mornings when I was a pre-teen.
It was always weird for me as a kid, too. I had just started getting into wrestling and had no idea what kayfabe or anything like that was, so seeing Jerry Lawler as a superhero in Memphis while at the same time being a chickenshit heel feuding with Bret Hart on Monday Night Raw confused the hell out of me.

The Sunday cartoons I remember most is when Nickelodeon debuted Doug, Rugrats and The Ren & Stimpy Show as Sunday morning Nicktoons in 1991.

I used to watch the USA Cartoon Express every Sunday morning, back when it was mostly '70s Hanna-Barbera cartoons like Jabberjaw and Captain Caveman.

Before we went to church, I was able to catch Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z when I was a kid. Not so much Sailor Moon for me, but I remember DBZ being on for us. Right after "The Why Why Family" and.....I think before Fantastic Four??? That or before Jumanji. Our Sunday Morning cartoons were under the BKN banner. But they had the OG Ocean Dub run of Dragonball Z before Toonami picked it up. I think they got a grandfather deal or something though, cause I remember in my neck of the woods, OG Dragonball would run on Saturday mornings for a couple years before, and it was the same dub team (Kid Goku and Gohan sounded exactly the same, Bulma and Roshi sounded the same as they did in Dragonball, though Ocean Dub never got around to Piccolo showing up in Dragonball so that's about all the possible comparisons).

Sunday was Cartoon Express, which was the lead-in to All-American Wrestling. If I hadn’t left the TV on for too long, I don’t know if I’d be a wrestling fan.
