Outside of their bland WWE songs, I was going through their library...and well it just is not that good.
I don't like criticizing people online generally, but most of the people we critique on here have been at least good at their job in SOME capacity. Def Rebel just isn't.
Did they have a connection to someone on the production side?

The company used to be run by an insane person.
That's the answer to all of these types of questions. It's not a satisfying answer, but it is the correct answer.

They did make "Tokyo Shock". That theme is great.

WWE cheaping out on real talent? 2 for 1 deal extra lawyer and record executive, maybe lol idk 🤷‍♂️ off topic a lawyer/record executive that makes awful music on purpose could a fun gimmick.

It's kind of incredible to me how WWE has improved dramatically in just about every aspect in its production the last couple of years, especially after Kevin Dunn left. And these goobers are still making bland, forgettable entrance music with only a couple of exceptions.

I'm not surprised Def Rebel were hired; Vince stopped giving a shit about character presentation a while ago to the point where quite a few guys on the roster had the gimmick of "man with beard".
What I don't understand is if HHH wants to keep them around, why there isn't at least a tiny bit of "Hey, this sounds like trash, try again?" critiques because holy f***, AJ Styles' theme suuuuuuuucks.

Some of the wrestlers would be better off suggesting to Management to use Public Domain Classical Music or Stock Mid 20th Century Supermarket Muzak.
