I feel like there’s this irrational hate for lyra but hhh isn’t helping by pissing off the mega fans of another section of wrestlers who Lyra is getting the jump on. So what the f*** is he meant to do? What sucks is they protected her with non-finishes against the likes of Becky & Bayley, so it gave the impression to many people and gave them reason to think that she had a push coming her way and......yeah...... |

Losing to the Kayden & Katana shouldn't be an issue, they are former tag team champs. The problem is the booking. They are tag team champs with 0 credibility. This is the first time they've won a match on TV since they lost the titles. They've pretty much been losing in under 3 minutes since they've been called up except for when they decided they wanted to put the tag titles on them for the Christmas show.

We were talking about odd/weird booking earlier with Dakota/Kairi suddenly developing a conscience when IYO went ballistic on Lyra and them having to restrain her from doing further damage. Well, in this case we got another example with Dakota & Kairi beating the KCs down and were set to put the finishing touches, only for Lyra to come down and in effect distract them. And it wasn’t like she was running down to even the odds for the KCs, the odds were already even. So the win didn’t really help the KCs in regards to their credibility. Odd booking because it made the dastardly Heels look like the ones getting screwed over instead of the other way around. |

WWE's not gonna set aside 10 minutes of RAW or SmackDown for a women's tag team to squash someone explicitly for that, be they someone on the roster or not. And the expectation would be to do that for literally everyone, right? Even the people that many would say have credibility (Belair), a lot of it comes from beating the people that apparently didn't have any to give, so it just has to come from the sheer act alone of winning matches regardless of the opponent, wouldn't it? Look, I'm an outlier with this kind of subject because I'm so invested in the statistics of wrestling TV matches, which means that I do find it hard to circle the wagons over Iyo Sky when I see she's only been pinned twice on TV this year, one less time than "overpushed and undeserving" Nia Jax has been in the same time period. Hell, Kairi Sane's only been pinned twice since she's been back, and her fans are basically signing the death certificate of her career. Like, do they want these people pushed so hard that other wrestling fans hate them for it, the same way that they themselves hate Bianca Belair or Charlotte Flair for winning most of the time? SOMEONE has to lose these matches when they happen. I'm sorry if it's your favourite wrestlers that it happens to sometimes or even most of the time, but this stupid shit doesn't work unless someone loses. |

And yeah like mentioned earlier, the KCs squashing Damage CTRL is utterly terrible booking, especially since it's been two years since the group formed, and they have never won a feud. And people wonder why they (Damage CTRL) can't get over, but fans want to see them pushed anyways. As for Lyra, I have said it before, and I will say it again. She is just so incredibly uninteresting, and people seem to be trying to gloss over the fact that her NXT Women's title reign was carried by Tatum. No one gave a f*** about Lyra otherwise. When fans (including casual ones) are rooting for the HEEL over her during that run, uh yeah. But yeah, let's continue to piss off Damage CTRL fans, to the point of where Kairi is almost constantly trending on social media with fans upset she isn't getting pushed. And I have zero faith that this Damage CTRL storyline is leading anywhere other than "lyra wins lol". At best they will add in a new body just to continue to lose. |

If what Chance and Carter have been getting for the last year is deemed "multiple pushes" in your eyes, then Damage CTRL have had a f***in' armada of rockets strapped to them in comparison. |
