The fact that there's three Halloween movies named just "Halloween," a sequel to Scream called just "Scream," and a prequel to John Carpenter's The Thing that is also called "The Thing" is a pain in the ass and I hate having to make the distinction between each of them. (But in fairness, at least one of those Halloween movies I mentioned is a remake, so that can be justified.)
Meanwhile, I can live with sequels having numbers in their titles. It's easier for me to narrow things down if I'm talking about them to people who may not be fans of that particular franchise or whatever and don't know which one is which by just name alone.
I'm OK with a name like Scream 4. I don't like shit like SCRE4M Oh, okay, yeah, I hate that shit too. That’s why I’ve referred to that movie M3GAN as “M-three-gan” since it was released. Numbers aren’t letters.
