There’s a lot of different ways to interpret this title, but what I mean is the presentation is GREAT and the information is presented in a fun and/or creative way. But when you really think about it you’d probably get the same basic information reading a short Wikipedia article.
Three that come to mind…
Dark Side of the Ring: If you’ve been on the IWC long enough (for example if you still call it the IWC) you’ve probably heard ALL the stories before, at least in the first few seasons. But the re-enactments are so fun and the color quotes from some veteran wrestlers make this such a smooth watch.
Swindled: This is a true crime podcast l with a total dead pan delivery and ominous sounding soundtrack that I love. But a lot of the topics are fairly mainstream and if you check out the Wikipedia articles on any topic that has one you’ll get every thing you’d get from a Swindled episode. When the host was covering a highly litigious individual he even pointed this out as a means to dissuade him from suing.
Nick Crowley: Pretty much Swindled, but instead of being a podcast covering white collar crime it’s a YouTube channel covering disturbing Internet stuff. I’ll give is channel a little more credit though as some videos get into some obscure foreign examples that always make for the most intriguing content.

There are tonnes of movies I like that fall into this category. First one that came to mind is the first Bay Transformers movie. It’s not a good movie, but it’s f***ing fun. The sequels are mostly garbage, Revenge of the Fallen is one of my most hated movies ever, but the first movie perfectly nailed that brainless fun popcorn movie vibe. It doesn’t get up its own ass, it’s not too long, and it’s fun. Perfect summer blockbuster.

Chances are, a super-sugary stupid pop song that would annoy most people. (Think early Ke$ha, early Britney, in fact TRL Era pop in general, 80s synch, wrestling themes that would fit in the lol category, 8 bit video game songs, etc.)

Basically all slasher movies, if we're being honest

Judgement Night isn’t some deep and profound masterwork, I just like watching Denis Leary as a crazy gangbanger chasing Gordon Bombay and Tre from Boyz In The Hood around the city with a gun.

Basically all slasher movies, if we're being honest Yes, love a good slasher! When they play around with the formula it can be fun, but when the killer is just some random guy, well I don’t mind that either.

My first thought was Rocky 4, but really a lot of 80s and 90s action movies. The Running Man. Over the Top. Bloodsport. Cliffhanger. I love all these movies, but they aren’t exaclty thought provoking high art.

Yeah, quite a few of their episodes are pretty much common knowledge for the show's core audience. I mean, the Nick Gage episode didn't tell us anything we couldn't have learned from simply reading his Wikipedia article. But it's such an enthralling show either way.

DSotR is a great show for the fan that isnt reading up on stuff and the fan that stopped watching 20 years ago. I enjoy it but so many of the stories they tell I heard a long time ago. That is why since it started I've wanted the Chris Colt episode. He is not even that well known with the elder members of the IWC.

Adam Sandler movies.
There's two types of people in this world. 1) People who enjoy most of his movies. 2)f***ing liars.
There I said it.

I think stuff like GameTheory might fall into this, most channels similar to them as well, like those HAUNTED story Youtube Channels or the ones that narrate or tell of creepy true stories or myths
