With the announcement of SummerSlam moving to two nights starting 2025, do you still the same happening with Royal Rumble?
I could see them splitting the show with four or five matches per night. The women's rumble going on night one and of course the men's closing night two. Then each night gets a men's and women's championship match.
What do you think? I don't see them stopping with SummerSlam as a two night event, when Royal Rumble is established as the 2nd most important show of the year.

As long as we can get an NXT Royal Rumble in the undercard of one of those nights, why the heck not??

I don't see an NXT Royal Rumble happening, considering they usually just throw a few NXT people into each of the Rumbles each year to help fill the match.

Each night gets either the men's or women's rumble, either the WWE or WHC title match men's and women's, either a US or IC title match, and a tag team title match. That makes 5 matches per night.

Of the Big 3 PLEs it is second to WM in making sense over two nights IMO.

Hopefully not. Just keep it a one night thing.

I hope not, but while they are hot I can see them trying it.

With Summerslam it makes sense, since it is a Summer Event. The Rumble not as much

I think it's very likely, but I wonder how smart a move it would be. I can see the logic in doing it, and in making Summerslam two nights.. It's also a big flex on the Fed's part, but I wonder how sustained this current hot period will be for the company.

I would have preferred the Rumble over Summerslam in terms of going to two nights because with two 75 minute matches, it could probably benefit from spreading it across two different nights. It's exhausting to do all in one night.

They should start one of the Rumbles at the end on Night 1 and then resume it at the start of Night 2. Every Rumble participant the ring at the end of Night 1 has to sleep there.

Probably, but the real issue is from Survivor Series to Rumble is one of the deadest times in WWE. With holidays, there is a natural ratings drop off and some shows get preempted.
Would customers prefer paying for one night less travel and see a 5 hour show, or pay for an extra hotel night and see two 3 hour shows?
It would be tough for WWE to get enough hot feuds going to have two full cards of matches everyone wants to see. Typically there is reason the regular matches (even the world title ones) at Rumble don't feel that important.
The last non Royal Rumble match AT the Rumble that actually felt important was Edge vs Cena in 2006. Is another one anyone can point to that REALLY got your attention?
