I don't watch weekly, well anything, anymore so I don't keep up with the stories, but...
Becky vs. Liv: Decent enough, I'm glad Liv won, and I liked Dom's inclusion.
IC Triple Threat: I think we all could have predicted exactly how it was going to end, I wrote it in my notes the moment I saw Bronson Reed was in it. Eh. Sami as IC champ isn't doing it for me.
Nia vs. Lyra: Lyra has a bright future. Her selling, especially how she uses her facial expressions is really, really good. That ending sequence made me go "OH!" out loud. Best, worst, looking finisher I've ever seen Nia do.
Gunther vs. Orton: This could've went another 10 minutes and I wouldn't have complained. Orton's selling of his back, and knee, and neck are next level. Too bad the ending was botched. All hail the King General!
Cody vs. Logan Paul: Didn't watch. I had zero interest in this one.
I don't know....6 maybe? It was fine. I like the smaller serving sizes of matches we've been getting (I seem to be in the minority with that one) where they have room to breathe, but nothing was super magnificently great that it really made the show excellent. It was just fine. Also I curse France for starting the trend of the crowd chanting shit just to chant shit.

I don't know whether corporations accepting hundreds of millions to create content out there is actually going to bring lasting positive change. I'm sure that's not the primary aim regardless. But I'm certain that people who'd claim to care sneering 'f*** that place' isn't going to do it either. It's not "f*** that place". It's about highlighting what sportswashing is in the hope that maybe things will get better for people living there and more selfishly protect sports from how the blood money distorts them. Wwe are paid to help the Saudi regime convince the world that things have changed but read what it's actually like for women there in the article below and remember it when Stephanie McMahon acts like she invented feminism. Many of us will always vote "never watched" as a result. It's fine if others choose to watch, no ethical consumption under capitalism and all that but please don't say imply our care isn't genuine, especially given what's happened since the 2018 World Cup. www.theguardian.com/global-development/article/2024/may/07/family-three-sisters-saudi-arabia-fawzia-manahel-mariem-al-otaibi

10/10: I did watch only the Liv vs. Becky match up, but was so'oh satisfied! Absolute peak point of my life as a fan, bigger than MITB FOR SURE.

See, this kinda sucks. I'm going to say it straight up and if I'm wrong, please feel free to correct me.
The point several mods have brought up is absolutely true and there's no other way to really put it, WWE being in bed with these people "sucks/is downright awful" at a very minimum and goes into a much further human/political point that I personally agree with. It does make it hard to stomach for most people and why I fully expected the "didn't watch" to be the highest option, as it objectively probably should be.
Alongside with that (but not as important), I can 1000000000% see why people would be fed up at this point at the optics of the messenger aside from that. No blame is being put on these posters bringing up SA's crimes but it has been an endless stream of "stop having fun, you hate this, please oh please you hate this why is nobody eating the bait" especially in SmackDown threads for months now that goes entirely unaddressed. This is separate to the idea of boycotting the show because you do not want to be associated with such a terrible place. You can take every single person in the PPV thread and ask them how they feel about SA and I guarantee you besides maybe one or two, they'd say f*** that place. That's not my issue and I agree.
I'm sympathetic to ratings going down and the online grift becoming an easy way for youtubers to make money. I watch hours upon hours of these shows. I'm going to Dynamite in a few days most likely. However these live threads of someone consistently shitting up the place because aside from probably the same guy on multiple accounts people have stopped engaging in some back and forth when people are trying to enjoy their show, I can absolutely understand why people would be hesitant of someone actually giving a f*** about the issues at hand and more so that this is just another opportunity to scream "somebody listen to me i get ignored during the live threads every week because people refuse to take the bait". If you do not regularly participate in watching WWE or these threads, you're not going to see it but it is absolutely there and blatantly out of f***ing control.

The Saudi deal makes me uncomfortable but it's been going on for years, still has several years to go, and will probably be renewed, so it's just something I don't think about.
I already pay for the network so me watching or not watching doesn't affect anyone but myself, and I don't watch these shows and come out of them like "oh wow, what a wonderful place, I know where I want to go on holiday next year!".

Yes, it’s similar energy to when people post about things like ratings in another section of the board and you get replies like “why aren’t you giving the same energy to the Vince’s sexual assault topic.” Like anyone doesn’t actually condemn that behavior? It’s bizarre.

It's also repeated on this page as apparently something everyone would agree with. Just dumb, ignorant shit.

-500000 for only 1 reason, not enough pyro for Cody. Saudi shows always have a ton of pyro. Was expecting a bonkers pyro event after Cody won, but it was a let down

What I saw was good but honestly there were gonna be no surprises. Also I bailed before the King of the Ring match cause I don't care for Randy Orton or Logan Paul

I thought the IC and Becky Liv cause I could see Gable being a shit and stealing a win off Reed to continue the story in that direction. Orton had no chance

I’d say 8/10. Every match was really good except the Queen final I thought.

Orton had no chance Yeah, I thought Gable would have stole it... but Gunther was the obvious winner of the king of the ring, but I was 90% on Liv winning... I was 50/50 on the Queen of the Ring...
